great video i am lake pilot as well .... in bc north of you ....have flown cascades many times.....I checked out Lake Isabel on goog earth ...it measures out at approx 1.4 miles. is that correct ? and elev. asl is ? see Valhalla mountain range in bc. north of Castlegar BC ....see Evans and Beatrice Lakes.
Great video! I think my AME in Seattle has one of those. Did the wheels get stuck in the sand? How easy is it to back the plane out with the wheels dug in like that?
I didn't record me cussing way thru the supremely cold water to get back in ;). I went back today (3 days after this video) and the snow was gone and the water line was a foot higher inland
