Tips for more ball speed? That’s really what I struggle with when bowling 2 handed. I’m 14.5-16 one handed. I can barely muster 13.5 bowling 2 handed

I think these same practices can be applied to many if not all of the bowling techniques. I’ve switch from conventional to 1 hand no thumb and my wife has started bowling just over a year ago and these will help her too 😁

I just started bowling again after a 35+ year break due to injuries and two back surgeries and I’m so glad that I finally can bowl again at the age of 68. My youngest son has never been good at bowling, but he’s happy to go with me when we get to see each other and after our last bowling session together I suggested that he study some CZcams videos on two handed bowling and try it out the next time we bowled together. Well that opportunity happened a couple days ago and he adjusted to using two hands really fast. His normal bowling average had been about 110, to 130 bowling one handed, and his first attempt at bowling two handed he threw a 211 on just his fourth game, and was very happy with his progress and he’s looking forward to bowling more often now. I’m very happy for him as well and I look forward to taking him bowling with me as often as I can (we live 750 miles apart).

Outstanding lesson thanks Packy! I switched to 2 hands at age 45 and this video hits all of the things I'm struggling with at times, esp falling off the shot. Your physical game is really consistent, now I have some ideas on getting there. Thanks!!

Thank you for this Packy! This really helps me because I'm always looking to get better. I can now just focus more on the mechanics. Happy Holidays!

This is relevant for ANY bowler. This was excellent. I greatly appreciated the comments about not caring about the pin fall on some of the drills and about posting your shot till the ball hits the pins.

Best video you've posted in awhile! Great content! You beat me to the punch when you were talking about consistent speed with each step on the approach. I wondered about how the stutter step fit into that and whether that would be considered an "increase" in speed, but as soon as I started thinking it, you addressed it. Thanks for this video! This was great stuff.

I struggle a lot on my approach ever since I was a kid I’ve always started at the back set of dots so I take like an 8 step approach and I can’t break that habit but I’m glad u threw in the tip about keeping ur speed consistent because I start slow then speed up towards the foul line and my throws r very inconsistent so can’t wait to put some of these tips to work thanks

As a 2 handed bowler that bowls in PBA regionals, I've been struggling a bit with my physical game and this video helped remind me what I've been forgetting in my practice sessions! Slow approach (for warmup) and a HUGE focus on stability/consistency over down lane results. Thanks Packy!

I recently moved towards one hand without a thumb and a lot of these I can easily see myself applying. Thanks for the tips Packy!

This is definitely what I've been wanting. There's not enough out there to show you how to practice as a two hander. All I ever hear is speed up the feet and have a hop/power step into the slide. Can't wait to hit the lanes and practice this!
