Words can’t express how happy I am that the Queen gave this man a knighthood.
I believe he was trully sincerely a good man.
He didn't want any prizes for the good things he did. He didn't brag about it. He kept it secret, but it was published whe his wife found his journal. And he just got honoured after so many years.
He is an angel.
God bless his soul.
This man never wanted the attention he received, he did it what he did because it was the right thing to do. I wonder how many others have performed similar acts of heroism. People who lived and died without telling a soul, an intimate, eternal secret between the savior and the saved.
It's fascinating how much he offered to humanity, a true HUMAN!

Sorry to put a negative spin on this but i hate it when there acting like the queen is the most important person in the room when that amazing man is stood there, he is the true royalty in this video.
Exactly! All of these heros could've been honoured without the queen and the Royal family. Monarchy and human classification in 21st century is ridiculous. Abolish monarchy and be like everyone else.

It's beyond belief that anyone gives a thumbs down to this video about Sir Nicholas Winton. Perhaps those who gives a thumbs down need a good look into a mirror.
No words nor any prizes can celebrate enough what Sir Nick did. Heroes don’t boast about their deeds. They put their heads down and do what must be done. I’m not religious but every now and then we have angels walking among us. Sir Nicolas was one for sure.

It’s wild how if his wife hadn’t found the journal, no one would’ve known but those children. Many would want recognition, he didn’t, he just did what was right regardless.

I was fortunate to hear Joe Schlesinger speak at a youth conference in the 1980's. He was an impassioned speaker sharing what he had learned in his travels around the world. It's amazing to learn that Joe was one of Sir Nicholas' children. One Life indeed.

There are no coincidences in life...God must have sent this brave man to save these children. It's sad that the last 250 children he had ready to take a train out was cancelled by the Nazis' when war broke out. Here's to you Sir Nicholas Winton...you are a better human than most of the rest of this world's humanity.
