Swansea City Association Football Club is a Welsh professional football club based in the city of Swansea, South Wales.
Formed in 1912, the club joined the Football League in 1921, and currently plays at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The Swans won the League Cup in 2013, and have secured 11 promotions across the course of their history.
Additionally, the club are two-time EFL Trophy winners, two-time FAW Premier Cup winners, and 10-time Welsh Cup champions, qualifying for European competition on eight occasions. - Sport
Majority of questions that Luke is answering here are relating to issues at the very top of the club. Contract issues and a general lack of transparency filtering down to the coach, players and of course the fans…
Cullen deserves a far longer contract, given that he is a proven goalscorer at this level - regardless of whether people think he’s “first-team quality” or not.
What a strange approach. If he is not "first team quality" what is he doing at Swansea? . He seems a solid performer but his stats are worse than last season. He can stay on his current deal as a 50:50 player but staying longer depends on whether is output is comparable with his wage demand. Swansea wanted to keep Latibeaudiere and offered the money he was worth. He walked for better money.
@@johnjames4681 You realise all successful clubs depend on good recruitment and squad depth, right?.. If a player isn’t “first team quality” yet, why would you let go of them?
He’s an academy product, cost us a total of £0, plays for the badge and scores goals… do I need to elaborate further as to why he needs to stay?
@@EmsionProductions I would agree with you but he is 25 next week. Heis no youngster. If he is not "first team quality" at 25 he never will be. The academy has been very poor at producing strikers. Cullen is weak in aerial contests. He must improve season on season.
@@johnjames4681 How many full seasons has he really had to prove himself up-top?.. Not that many. Cullen has played in teams where Piroe was in the starting XI as target man, and yet Liam still pops up with goals.
It’d be crazy to let a great back-up option leave on a free, and likely to a league rival…
Also, that’s total fiction about Swansea not producing great strikers. Should we just release them all then? Did you not see Iwan Morgan in our youth teams last few seasons, he was poached by PL Brentford last Summer…
This is a very worrying interview not lukes fault just looks like it will be same again next year scraping the barrell again with poor players. No ambition to try and keep the better players and no desire to go and get players we are looking at. Any decent players will be snapped up by others and we will end up will loan players that are not ready for first team championship and injury prone free agents 😢
Woowww heres to you luke williams swansea loves you more than you will ever know woowww🎵🎵🎵😍😍😍
Let's just win. Our games we've got too play
Also buy out Rushworths contract too, we’ll get him for about 2 million maybe
Need to look at Johansson of Rotherham
Need to make rushworth a priority whether it be loan or permanent 👌
Rushworth is Brighton first choice next season. Swansea need to find a permanent keeper. Evan Watts is a good Wesh prospect.
@@johnjames4681 we can still try and hash out a permanent deal for him won't hurt to try 🤷
@@johnjames4681 Wesh?
Unfortunately, we all have to accept that Naughton and Allen will probably never play again. Gerry Yates can get fucked. The Ukrainian needs to play and ginelly needs to be eased into the squad. Buy out Lowe’s contract and send Liam Walsh on loan
I think Liam Walsh is out of contract at the end of season. If so it is time to say goodbye. Decent enough player but he is never fit.
First Rushworth is staying then going, how can anyone believe anyone ! at this club.
Williams messed up there tbf, think he got a bit excited at the time 🤣
