there is a pretty high chance that you will be building a sled out of skis which are not yours and you don't upfront how they are gonna look like, so don't. count that there will be holes. If most of the people in the group have tech binding, you won't be able to move it much to switch up the skis to find ones with holes

Thanks for this. I'm thinking of the possibility of using this just to pull my stuff, if I want to do a camping/ backcountry skiing trip.
You could also take your coat off zip it up, turn sleeves inside out and thread your skis through the sleeves for a quicker improvised stretcher/sled.

how about if i dont have a k2 ski and my skis dont have the holes on tips and tails???
Use a step drill to drill your tips and seal the holes with CA (super glue) or epoxy.

@@qojta Carry a couple of small C-clamps that you can screw down onto the tips of any pair of skis
What cordelettes size are you using? Is 2 times 5mm x 5m enough?
