  • Penn Medicine Vascular Surgeon Grace Wang, MD, specializes in treating carotid disease, peripheral vascular disease, and aortic aneurysms. Her clinical interests include carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting, endovascular and open interventions for limb preservation, endovascular and surgical repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, and dialysis access. Dr. Wang is also director of the vascular laboratory at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

    I wish I had a team that cared about me. I have been given no chance to restore blood flow to my legs. It’s depressing to know you have been no chance to save my leg and I’m crushed 😢

      I’m sorry to hear this. Have you tried getting second third or fourth opinions? unfortunately, if things are left too long, the worst the outcomes are. Don’t wait too long if you want to get different opinions. amputation is a seemingly extreme but conservative method. Otherwise you could risk losing even more.
