River Treasure : Chiggen Gold Rings And iPhones

- Today we dive into a nice clear river in search of lost gold rings, iPhones, GoPro's, silver, and any other lost treasures that rest on the river bottom. I was able to return the gold class ring but was not able to figure out who owns the working iPhone that I found.

I had a fun day on the river and found some decent river treasure. I was able to return the class ring but the iPhone remains locked. I hope you enjoy the video!
That bose speaker might work if you dry it out and charge it. Those things are tough. Had one in the bottom of my pool for a week and it still works.
Hey Chigg! That isn't a video camera. It's called a "mod" and it's apart of a vape.
If you hit "emergency" on the phone on the bottom...sometimes the person has entered contact information ..(love all your work very much)

Chigg, on the Lock Screen of the phone tap emergency, then tap medical ID. If the owner stored any emergency contacts they should be visible there. Good Luck!

Those are all mine Chigg.....what had happened was I lost my ring and when I was looking for it I lost my phone so I came back another day to look but lost my new ring and new phone.....crazy bad luck right.......thank goodness you found them all😏😏😏😏

Hey Chig! Great finds! That "Video Camera" is actally a vape mod basically a battery with a heating coil that turns the nicotine liquid into a vapor. To answer your question about returning the phone, the siri trick only works if the phone hasnt been turned off. Sometimes people can have their emergency contacts listed in the emergency call section of the lock screen. Besides this, you could try to take it to the phone carier (usually itll say AT&T, Verison, Tmobile Ect. at the top of the screen) and see if they can get any info off of it.
What I did is I took the SIM card out put it in a different phone texted my phone then called the number that came up. There may be an easier way but that’s just what I ended up figuring out. Also I love your videos and I credit you completely for my lifelong love of snorkeling and metal detecting.
I realized I was holding my breath even though beaux didn't say hold your breath.
I found an Iphone once in the parking lot by a local dog park when we were going there for a walk.
I asked every person I saw at the dog park if they were missing their phone, and nobody said they were.
Same situation; phone was locked but charged.
Was planning to take it to police for lost & found; but about half an hour after we left the park the phone rang.
We were able to see the incoming call's phone number and phone it back from one of our phones.
Of course it was the first woman I asked who didn't realize she had dropped it and didn't bother checking when I asked if she was missing her phone.
They drove to the mall we had gone to and collected the phone without so much as a "thank you".
You don't forget idiots like that.

When I saw him pick it up in the river I first thought it was a camera as well but once he had it on the table I could tell right away it was a vape mod. My roommate use to use one of those when we lived together..

@@aquachigger i certainly did! You could try to find the owner of the iphone by checking their Medical ID under Emergency. They do need to have it set up however.

Doubt if there are many like you that will take the time (or have the desire) to seek out the owners. It's often items that are sentimental. I'm sure they appreciate your taking the time.

River Treasure is back!..... Finally!
Sometimes on iPhones a emergency contact is setup that you can call. This will usually be the iPhone owners spouse or family member.
The thing you are trying to break apart to get the card out of is a Vaping Mod. I have the same exact one. Great hunt!

At Scout Jamboree in West Virginia we sat with all the scouts and had them put a selfie of themselves as their lock screen along with their Jamboree troop number. Amazing how many phones get lost when you have 30,000 people camping in one spot.

If the operating system is fairly current on an iphone, you can hold the volume down button (lower button on the left) and the power button (on the right) at the same time. It should prompt you with three prompts Power Off, Medical ID, and EMERGENGY SOS. If the person filled out their Health Info, the Medical ID option should have an emergency contact listed.
That movie camera is just a vape . Old man🤣🤣🤣
09:35 - CHIGG!!! It's 'Voopoo Drag X' Vape mod, containing an 18650 battery, and the circle at the top is to house a plastic vape juice tank that is magnetically held in (obviously lost somewhere)...

Your Camera looks more like a VAPE Pen body than a camera. Similar to 1 that my wife'
had and the atomiser is glass and fits to the top.
