Slow Spring days | Dandelion honey | Homemaker in Welsh mountains

For the love of homemaking and happy kids :)
So it's been a while youtube tribe! Forgive me. I wanted to share some footage I've captured over a couple days, typical spring scenes within our home and outdoors with my littles :)
Made dandelion honey with the plants that were being weeded from our allotment 🍯
We've been enjoying on toast & good ole Wheetabix 🙌
Pluck petals off.
Boil dandelion petals with lemon.
Sit for few ours to steep.
Strain.
Weigh liquid.
Then measure equal parts sugar.
Boil once again with sugar to thicken, around 20 mins but more if prefer thicker.
Great activity and process with kids ❤️
