Bobby Miller is droppable only usable in good match ups. I drafted him from the beginning of the season and dropped easily after his first start after the first game off the IL . His rehab starts were garbage 🗑️
Rehab starts mean nothing. But another two starts like this, and he becomes droppable for me.
I have Willson Contreras and Alvarez in a 1 catcher points league, rest of catchers left are pretty bad, is it worth rostering both? Or drop alvarez for another position player? If i drop him someone forsure is going to grab him since hed be the best catcher available.
Trade one Contreras for a high end player 1-1
I’m in the same situation except I’m in first place and I’m not in need of any other positions and tbh I hate when my C don’t play so this kinda mitigates that for me.
@@anthuancruz287 im in first as well, so i can afford it rn, but theres guys like langford, rafaela, chourio, Lee, available that sound enticing. My worry is if i drop alvarez and willson gets hurt id be screwed with like keibert ruiz 😭
@@RobbbCutz idk how deep your league is or who you have but I’d probably drop one of them for Langford, if I had to choose I’d drop Alvarez solely on that Wilson’s back up is injured and he DH sometimes . I’m sure maybe Ben Rice is available in your league, he has C eligibility if you ever need a quick fix.
@@anthuancruz287 its pretty shallow, 8man, but most of the hot hitters are gone, rice got picked up yesterday, i just wanted to get opinions when its 2 good catchers, tough to drop alvarez but i did see he hit .200 last year, afraid he might hit a little slump after that hot start coming back from injury

Jazz Chisholm trade value in fantasy. What can I expect back.
I traded Glasnow, Gil, and Santander for Soto. Since Gil has sucked Glasnow is hurt. I thought that might happen. Did I win the trade? 10 Team H2H Categories
Is your trade partner unfamiliar with Glasnow's health history? Gil was lights out vs the Sox, but had certainly struggled in his past few starts prior to that. I'd say if Soto stays healthy you win the trade.
Maybe, but depends on the Yankees offense moving forward. Pretty bad for a long while now. Counting stats may be low.
Don't like that 3-for-1 trade......the 3 you're trading have all been productive in points leagues....but you're in a roto league, so it might work out for you.
My other pitchers are Skubal, Ragans, Skenes, Cole, Gausman, and Hunter Brown for starters. Munoz and Holmes for closers

Phantom injuries are bs. I've always said it should be mandated that an independent doctor evaluate every player's alleged injuries. I don't think teams should have the right to fabricate injuries to rest players.

Bobby Miller has no "dog in him". He appears soft and whipped on the mound. Kicking at the dirt, mouth breathing while looking in the dugout for an escape. Rojas tried to get him pumped up at a mound visit during Miller's last start, but received zero response. His entire visual looks like "rich kid with a golden arm that cant overcome diversity." He's probably a good dude, but sometimes pitching with an f-you attitude can fit a guy's on field personality...see Max Scherzer.

Bobby Miller has far more upside than any other pitcher on waiver wire. I would say he is NOT droppable. Just struggling at the moment, but still tons and tons of upside.

Why does Towers have to interrupt and go uh huh, yep when Scott’s talking? (Frank he just cuts off). The show always rushes late when he’s on bc he has to chime in. No one else does this.
Re rankings: it’s ridiculous to cite data as your end all, but say oh I think Olson (worse data) is better than Naylor (better, and was a .300 hitter in ‘23). Olsons barrels are down 6%! Hard hit 10%, EV 2 mph. And he was never what he did last year, before. He’s not a certified 50 HR guy. Naylor is a much better bet for BA. I mean you can’t even take Towers seriously. And Scott takes so long to shift his views you’re SOL when he finally does. Like why do “rankings updates” every week?

PS- actually Snell looked really good. He feels better than he has at any time. He was around the zone. The Jays don’t whiff much.
Agreed. I don't take any advice from Chris Towers. When I look at their rankings on CBS Sports, I only really look at Scott's column, then my own.
One pretty good start doesn't bring Snell back.
So overrated from a consistency standpoint. His stuff is elite, though.
