    Love it! I live in Ashford and have been to many of those places. I love camping and cycle to get to work etc. I never thought about combining the 2! I've just got some panniers and frame bags etc. Now I just need it to warm up and campsites to open to try out cycle touring. I think this canti way sounds perfect for my first tour. Can't wait!

      It’s a great way to explore an area. The Cantii way is a great tour to try as your first. If looking for affordable cycle touring kit then recommend decathlon (the panniers my son is using)

    Just watched all the way through for the second time. Very well done, especially to Ewan. Very impressed- for the second time, Ian from Downunder.

    Thank you. We are planning on doing this on a tandem in September, great to have seen some of the route and the scenery. Looks like we made a good choice.

    • @ALittleAdventureTime
      @ALittleAdventureTime  Před 2 lety

      You’ll have a lovely ride though do avoid the Sandy bit through the golf course (stick to the road) I wouldn’t fancy pushing a tandem through that!

      @@ALittleAdventureTime Hi. How long is the sandy part? I'm considering doing the route some time this year on my endurance road bike with 32 mm tyres.

    • @ALittleAdventureTime
      @ALittleAdventureTime  Před rokem +1

      @@Bungle2010 I wa doing it on 34s and it was just unridable. Section is about a mile long but l would just avoid it, there’s a perfectly good quiet road running parallel and I would stick to that!

      @@ALittleAdventureTime OK thanks. I'll probably stick to the road then.

    Great video - thanks for sharing. I've just completed the Cantii Way so it's a nice reminder. How did you find the climb up onto the North Downs at the start of the ride?

    • @ALittleAdventureTime
      @ALittleAdventureTime  Před rokem

      Thanks, it's a great ride isn't it. The climb was tough but not too bad for the North Downs start (probably cos our legs were freshed), the hardest climbs were definitely day three by Dover and Folkestone.

    • @DavidMackenzie
      @DavidMackenzie Před rokem +1

      @A Little Adventure Time I started in Canterbury so the North Downs came at the end of the ride for me 😊

    • @ALittleAdventureTime
      @ALittleAdventureTime  Před rokem

      @@DavidMackenzie Ouch that must have been tough then, and we commented at the time that the descent that we did from there would have been harder as an ascent as it was quite a loose surface in places

      You can download the complete route from the Cycling UK website - www.cyclinguk.org/route/cantii-way-map-and-gpx or where you after each day as a separate GPX file?
