- Today i visited Heartlands to take a look at the old mine house and surrounding area. Whilst there I encountered a police drone in flight and managed to grab a chat with the operator. I also had a quick chat with a firearms officer about the weaponry he was carrying.
Sad the Heartlands Heritage Site has closed earlier 2024.😢
Wonderful many industrial heritage locations have been preserved across Britain, and hopefully the site can be reopened in the future. Thanks for a virtual visit. 👍⭐⭐⭐
Appears they removed their pages so not to mislead the public. Contrast from migrant hotels taking the public moneys then maintaining web pages falsely implying hotels and restaurants are open for business.

That’s where I flew my fpv racing drone by the grass area many years ago to show my mate how quick it was. Rapid compared to DJI’s. Cool something must be going on there perfect timing to show up. 13:13
It was the first time that I'd walked around down there properly. It's a shame that it's closed down now. It was quite a nice place.
@@CornwallAudits did you find out what was going on there with the police,drone ect. Seems dodgy to me.
I didn't ask. I'm not sure that the microphone caught it, but the drone operator did say that there were no heat signatures around the area that they checked. With the Ambu and Armed response, I'm assuming that it was a weapon related assault of some sort.
Yet they still lose them in lakes and children's playgrounds.
Don't let them get info from you. Keep it zipped.
your Drone movements are to sharp, you can do with adjusting your settings so it's a smooth movement not to sharp
That place looks too have gone down hill now since it closed down was there last year and was well maintained
I haven't been there for several years, so I can't comment, really. I have heard that it used to be a nice place to visit.
Why so much police presence?
I think that somebody had been attacked with a weapon. Hence the armed response. I'm not sure though as I didn't ask.
Someone attacked just down the road. Seen it on the local newspaper.

@AllyT-p8h thanks for letting me know. I've been in a similar situation before, and I've asked what was happening. The normal answer is that it's an ongoing investigation, and they're not willing to discuss it. It's nice to tie up the threads.
