Hi Miss K! My name is Tasha and I started watching your videos like 2 weeks ago when I was cramming for my nha exam. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the content you make! I was in an accelerated course and we only had 16 weeks to get everything done with only 1 in-person class a week. It was rough but I made it! I passed the test with a 449!!! Your videos helped me so much and I honestly credit you with helping me make that happened. Your exam reviews were amazing and I felt pretty confident going in. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
Great score! Congratulations 🎉 And wow I can imagine how much you guys had to cram in that one day. But you did it 💪🏾😊
How's it going so far? I'm cramming for mine rn and this is the first video of hers I've seen! She's really good
@@luyandomulenga3508 I love my new job! I got hired in a small men's health clinic. There's 5 of total in the clinic and my coworkers have been very welcoming and helpful! I do a lot of phlebotomy, which I was really nervous about but after 2 months I'm feeling pretty comfortable in my role.
You got this! Just study, study, study and you'll pass for sure!! All the effort is so worth it💕
Thank you for helping me pass my patient intake demonstration this video speaks volumes
Thank you for making these videos because I’m taking a online ma course and don’t feel like I’m really learning anything

Would the probe cover go into Bio? or into normal trash?
Love this video!! training to be an MA currently and wanted to watch a proper triage/intake video.
Hey! Should go in bio… glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Hello doctor Can you please suggest me a low fee PA program school.
I watch from hobartindiana
Hey welcome :)
How long should it take for patient intake??
Should be no more than about 5 minutes.
10:00
What is the DD, Os and OV on the paper?
OS for L eye; OD for R eye; OU for both eyes. That’s how you document when you do a visual acuity exam.
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK ..Thank you!
What if the patient is a male but identifies as a woman , should we still ask about the last time she as a period?
No, because he was BORN a male.
No, they as they don’t have one.
I like to take medical assistant
Awesome! You should :)
Question not outta hate but why would you need a stethoscope if you took a automatic? I find it pointless and as an act of status rather use.
I'm glad you asked because this is a huge misconception. Just because you have automatic machines in the office does not mean you don't need your stethoscope. As an MA, you absolutely should have your stethoscope because if the machine reads abnormally high, you need to check it manually to confirm. You would also need to confirm if it reads abnormally low. Machines malfunction and they sometimes give false readings so we should never rely on them SOLELY. Manual BP is more accurate, which is why some providers won't even accept automatic readings. Are you an MA? I'm curious to know why you view having a stethoscope as an act of status vs viewing it as the necessity that it is.
I personally am not a fan of the BP machine, I prefer doing it myself.. just good practice..
@@Richard0824 Same here.
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK You'll have times where that machine might not work, what then? Good practice..
Dont do it. Medical assistants dont get paid any money!
I’m sorry you’re not making what you want. I know some MAs making some good money but it does depend on where you are. You’re not gonna make 6 figures but you can make a decent income. Also a great career to use as a stepping stone.
@MedicalAssistingwithMsK right I'm using it as a stepping stone after being a stay home for a few years. Thanks for all your help.
