  • I get questions all the time about how I know what my ethanol content is. The answer is a $15 dollar Amazon product. That uses Bluetooth to connect the OBD2 device to an app on your phone that gives you any and all information that is being processed by your cars computer.
Here is the Amazon link for the product:

Saldala on my 19 ss 1LE with the same mods as you I made 460 whp on a m6! My e85 content around my area was at 85% e85

I had 75% at the time of dyno. I normally use pump e85. Comes out 65-75% normally.

Tuner, dyno, time of day, temp, air quality/density altitude all have an effect on dyno numbers. The highest number doesn't mean much. Its more about base line to end result gain that matters. Also track times will tell the story. Anyway long story short don't get discouraged because your car showed x amount of hp less than someone else with the same mods. 1 dyno to another can read drastically different on the same car.

Correct. Some tuners make things more conservative and some more aggressive. Doing home work on potential tuners is important.

@@Saldalaperformance I’m not sure if what I made was bad or not but I made 435 on 91 and 460 on e but the car runs strong 😄😄

Couldn’t find my car in the connection profile. Obd-11/EOBD is what I used. 18 1LE/FBO

@@FastLvne No didn’t want to mess anything up with my tunes, so I quit messing with it.

Mine connected right away. This doesn’t affect vehicles tune. It doesn’t have the access to change ecu parameters. It’s only a tool to view what the ecu is reading.
