  • Introducing Hiba Khan, a civil engineer at Mott Macdonald.
A day in Hiba’s life could involve a number of things.
She could be working overseas, usually in Asia, on flood defence or irrigation projects, or in the UK, working to reduce leaks for water companies.
She’s also working to mainstream nature-based solutions across the water sector and beyond.
Hiba is passionate about the environment and looks to work on large, strategic and meaningful projects that can enrich the natural environment.
She also takes part in climate activism and volunteering outside of work.
Hiba was named in the Women’s Engineering Society’s Top 50 Women in Engineering list in 2024.
