WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TODAY my 4 TB HGST hard drive became a RAW drive. I will try it... there is a lot of stuff inside it. I was lucky enough to copy more than 900 GB before the problem.

@@prajakt0789 I gave up. The hard drive is still as RAW. I will pay someone to do it. I have problems with anger. Nothing from internet worked.

I recovered a hdd, but the file is in Basic data Partition, can I open to recover my information?
impossible to execute chkdsk because the drive is being used, I scheduled for the next boot but still... no success. I have no security tab on properties.

you would have to convert fat32 to NTFS first.

when i tried to do the same on my External hard disk i am getting below message, can you please help ? i need to retrive data on this external hard drive at any cost.

the switch always goes after the command... never before it.
However, that will not resolve the problem, as it will still be a RAW drive, with no file system to fiix.
The advice I gave was to correct the command line structure you mentioned, (the syntax) rather than the drive that needs repaired.
