The one thing about bugs that really gets me, is that unlike most vertebrates, they are just wholly incapable of any thought. Like they are just biological meat mechs that just do things. Compare that to like any other animal and you can see there's at least some thought or consideration behind their eyes, but bugs are just so uncanny because they lack that.
