[MRMOBILE'S CES 2024 FAVORITES]
You know the old saying: maybe the real CES is the friends we made along the way.
I told you at the end of last year that 2024 will not see me casting as wide a net to cover every electronic bauble that crosses my radar. Whether you’re talking tech videos or life itself, I think it’s wise to save your awe, your wonder, even your skepticism for stuff that truly gets your attention (one way or the other). That, plus the fact that I was also on the other side of the media/marketing divide this year (hawking a product I helped develop!) means my pick list from the world’s biggest tech show is shorter this time around.
Nevertheless, it was indeed a Good Year at CES 2024 - and from dual-screen laptops to AI handhelds to (yes) a recreational vehicle ... I’ve rounded up the products that got my blood pumpin.’ One of which tells me just how fast that pumpin' is going.

I would definitely watch a Pebble Flow review.
Yessss
Also apples vision pro is super overrated- I believe most don't care about VR
Wait... there's no way this is the same company that made those watches right??
Yes.. cross country Pebble Flow review
I would too but man it’s expensive
that AI rabbit thing is basically what alexa siri and all those should have been in the first place, being able to teach it things makes it I think the only solid 'smart home' option to be honest
So It could have just been an app...
Edit: voice typing then the radio came on.
Yeah the hardware is pretty much pointless
@@Matanumi I'd rather the 200 dollar hardware than a $10/month subscription in perpetuity
Love this guy with a backpack. I like him.
Google Assistant has been so enshittified these days. I used to be able to say "Hey Google, I need a ride home." and then it used to reply something along the lines of, "You haven't setup your [ridesharing app or preferences or whatever]. To do so, visit [some settings page]." Implying that if only there had been a ridesharing company operating in my area, I could've just asked and it would've found me a ride.
Here’s a Mr. Mobile laptop video I want - a comparison between all the alternative form factor laptops (the Lenovo, the asus, etc). Then at the end, throw in a comparison to a MacBook + an iPad (used as a second screen via sidecar) as a wildcard.
Anyway, I’m all in for what you select, Fisher. Been watching you since the early Pocketnow days. Happy 2024.
I certainly feel covering only what brings you joy and elation, as I am in my own alignment journey as well. Your chemistry and enthusiasm is your greatest superpower, more people should aspire for incremental improvements over viral success. Cheers to longevity and making mobile fun. 🥂
0:54 I come for the great tech coverage, but I STAY for the incredible references! If anyone were to include a cutaway to Hunt for The Red October in a video, it would be you, and we love you for it!
*edit 6:30 And our boy Jack Rebney? Top notch.
Perfect time to watch in germany before going to bed
Goodnight
Same here in the Netherlands!
Same in South Africa
Sameee
same in Croatia. lying in bed fighting not to fall asleep at 23PM
A MrMobile video about a mobile tech workstation in the Pebble Flow... yes please!
That rabbit device does not make sense. Those features can be included on our phones with a software update. Looks like a bad idea to me.
What if you don't want a smart phone but need one for life? Like what $200 smart phone can do what Rabitt can?
@@GreenBlueWalkthrough How many people would want that. Maybe you do. My point is to be profitable wouldn’t you want to sell to a lot of people?
They're giving it away to consumers without a subscription for a reason. Collect as much data as they can and then have a big fish gobble up the company. These startups are made to be sold off for a nice payday for its investors.
@@ladolcevita6645 Makes sense now.
It's the kind of e-waste that will find its way to a landfill on arrival. Yeah, not exactly the most ingenious or innovative thing.
That Asus Zenbook seems like the best and most finalized version of any dual-screen laptop ever unveiled. It's the first that I can picture myself using as it all just seems to be packaged so well and such a hassle-free form factor. Just so happen to be needing a new laptop and that price seems very reasonable for it, so I might grab one. Are there any plans to review one in the future? No pressure, make what you want, but I would definitely be willing to watch one from you on it if you did.
It does look like a nice product indeed.
Your Winnebago Man impression is spot on. I have been rewatching the original clips, as well as the documentary, lately to feel better. You nailed it.
the rabbit r1 is the best example of “People become less creative and innovative because of AI”
Your road trip on the E-Bike was one of my favorite videos I’ve seen from you and I would love nothing more than to see a road trip in an electric RV
Really liked the conclusions part, I think those kind of reflections and thinking is what makes you special
Keep up the good work!
The best of any CES is watching Mr. Mobile covering CES!
So excited to watch this one !!
I love how you said you would only make videos on things you find interesting enough, but still delivers a ton. Nice!
Best CZcamsr
I really appreciate your new attitude towards being more purpose-driven about your tech coverage, being more mindful. It can help keep you enthusiastic, and all your viewers win as well. Great stuff! Good luck with Clicks!
I appreciate your inclusion and stress on the point when "no subscription" is required for use of a product, that alone makes me begin to consider a thing much more valuable.
Great video and as someone who also has demoed my own products after years of showcasing other ones I feel the same way each time... Which thanks for the disclaimers at the end they really set you apart!
Proud of you for the launch, dude. I've been following your channel for longer than I remember, and I am so happy to see you take the next step in your life. Congrats!
I checked out a Pebble Flow at a ev event and it was pretty dope. Felt very roomy, but idk if I’ll ever be able to afford it lol
I was genuinely surprised how much "bigger on the inside" it felt. 'Course I have no basis for comparison, outside of Winnebago Man videos, but it seemed very thoughtfully engineered to maximize internal space.
@@TheMrMobile same here, never been an rv person so not that much previous knowledge, but my friend who does was amazed
@@eddy5388 ah, now that’s a good idea
Looking forward to that Zenbook Duo 2024 review and to see how well Clicks do in the future and for an eventual Android release - will likely get one if it's made in a way to be used on any (most) phone.
I truly hope to make it to one of these shows in the future. Innovation around every corner and people excited to adopt it, sell it, or simply be inspired by it.
Loved the Hunt For Red October clip. One of my all-time favorite movies.
AI com badges are nearly here.
Computer, book me a dinner at Sisko's tomorrow at 9pm. And tell them I want the jambalaya.
"Today I'm recommending the pasta boudin. It's got a bit of a kick, but it will make you smile!"
@@TheMrMobile Make it so.
That pebble flow is going to be huge on OF and PH
On what and what?
I'm genuinely surprised he didn't cover the Lenovo Windows-Android tablet-laptop. I would have LOVED to hear his take on that.
Great vid! Love it as.always. I love the click i will keep an eye out for if you make one for my phone eventually!
At this point you're one of the very few people that I can sense still enjoy doing what they do.
rabbit R1, because the bixbi/siri/google button on your phone needs to be its own device now
That pebble rv has great potential. Just imagine the ton of batteries it could carry and serve as a range extender for EVs. Good design meets functionality. Oh and of course another great video from Mr Mobile. Little pleasures in life.
the form factor of the Rabbit R1 looked fascinating ! something about it just makes me wanna get it, its like a pokemon encyclopedia device
I am shocked that Clicks hasn't been made to fit any of the folding phone yet.
I'm not. Folding phones are still a niche market so the total number of people available to buy a version of Clicks for folding phones would be slim. Realistically, iPhones are the most practical choice for accessory manufacturers because of the limited number of models and larger user base.
@@rxpt0rs True but it could have a non case version for us with old phones with cases we like.... Also no headphonejack and SD card port is what I'm shocked most about.
@@GreenBlueWalkthroughit’s a keyboard, why would it have either of those things?
Keep up the good work. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and I’ll keep up as best I can whichever way you take the channel!
been watching your channel since 2020 i know its not that long but seeing you this hyped about clicks makes me smile! your a gentleman sir!!!!!
Awesome! Can’t wait to see this!
10:17
I'm about to start my first job on Monday and hearing that made me feel a lot less nervous for some reason. That was quite inspirational.
Love the content 😊 TY for all your hard work
It was nice to finally meet you at CES!
LOL guy at the beginning 0.11 giving the two finger salute (v-sign) 😂😂
Glad you're focusing in on your reviews! I'm excited for more When Phones were Fun
Watching yet another awesome MrMobile video as he shared what he liked during the recently held 2024 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas!
Haha, loved your subtle jab at 12:20.
Great video as always Michael. Best of luck on the Clicks product launch 🙌
AI is that thing that tech bros insist is going to make our lives easier by replacing literally every UI we already have with the yankiest interface possible for actions that might actually be completely wrong.
Momma, I made it! I'm in a MrMobile video! Great seeing you and covering Clicks. I didn't see any of the show unless it was to or from a meeting. 😅
the new asus duo is the most exciting and useful thing I have seen in years.
I am so not surprised that you helped co-develop such a device, I still miss BlackBerry and think they should have done a pro version of the Blackberry priv with an awesome set of cameras
I hope TE gets more partnerships, their designs are cool.
They already did the Panic Playdate before the Rabbit.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!
Thank You for your work, Michael. Here from day 1 and it has been amazing to see you venture into product entrepreneurship. I may not be able to buy clicks from here in India but wishing you all the best for this new adventure.
Your videos are informative and comforting - like listening to an old friend. I trust your judgment; covering only those gadgets that excite you, should provide great content for those of us who know and appreciate your style. A Pebble road trip video would be great. Please enlarge the reach of Click beyond the iPhone - Samsung awaits.
Rabbit R1 is coming in March, as in March Hare, down the Rabbit hole, JESUS, that's some amazing marketing prowess for a first time company.
Perfect timing! I'm going to watch it before going to bed.
Yay, a new Mr.Mobile video!! I have been waiting for the CES video since the event started!! Can't wait for the next video, whatever it will be about !
The thing about that rabbit gadget is that it’s such an obvious necessity that it will die before it’s even probably born because phones will integrate it and they carry much better hardware.
i am in the video😍. loved meeting you ♥️
Great meeting you as well! Thanks for saying hey!
what an amazing guy ♥️
You know a sort of glamping pebble flow vid would be cool, going to the great American wilderness testing; sat internet, hiking tech, smart watches etc.
Dude, the call out to the Winnebago Man @ 4:50! 😁This is why I check out every new video of yours!
Absolutly you should do Pebble trip mister mobile really mobile somewhere
Always nice to see you and Jaime, been watching you since the pocketnow days
Man u total respect love ur vids wish u the best always waiting to c ur vids wiz love from dubai
I already ordered a R1, can't wait to see what your review says!
Goodyear 🔥👌
Great seeing you as usual and congrats on Clicks!
Same to you friend. Thanks for stopping by and making that most-excellent Reel!
Mr. Mobile wouldn't be Mr. Mobile without Mobile tech like Bikes et al. I always love seeing your thoughts on new vehicles
Winnebago Man references are always welcome 😂
I really love the look of your keyboard and hope to see it in retailers in this part of the world. The two best products I read about were your keyboard and the glove to help people with Parkinson’s disease. Everything else seemed like expensive fluff sadly and there was nothing else that stood out that would make a difference to one’s life.
My Favourite is Lenovo 2in1 Detachable Laptop with Double Os (Windows + Android) & Asus Laptop with Double Screen Features (Just like Yoga Book 9i)!!! 💖😍💝
Phil, Alex and Crackberry Kevin in one video.... Wow! I used to read Kevin's articles every day when I had a Blackberry Curve and then Bold. And then Phil's and Alex's later when I moved to Android.
Great video as always! I'm a desktop guy but that dual screen laptop is very convincing....
Did not expect a ‘Hunt for Red October’ reference! 😂
Just wanted to let you know that, while on my way to work one morning last week, The topic of CES 2024 came up for a moment on 106.5 kwhl during the Bob and Brock Morning Show. Bob mentioned something about "A keyboard for your iPhone" as he called it or something to that effect. He unfortunately didn't mention it by name, but I was 99% sure it was "Clicks for iPhone" he was talking about. He mentions how it made the iPhone longer/taller too I'm pretty sure.
The best CES coverage on CZcams 🔥
Rabbit already has my vote for having NO SUBSCRIPTION! I'm SICK of them and anything that will allow me a one and done purchace is automatically at the top of my buy list!
A Mr. Mobile tech glamping video in the Pebble Camper would be fantastic
Very much want to see that R1 review. Yes it is what Alexa/Siri/Google Assistant should have been but you put it very well. The vibe of the device is kinda the allure into it. Especially compared to the competition.
In regards to things I’d like to see reviewed, honestly the way you paint your perspective with your words makes me willing to watch whatever you decide to review.
Love your video. Surprised to not see you with a foldable phone on the desk when using your computer.
Thank You
Awesome video as always! Recall a previous video hinting at reviewing a Steam Deck like system review, would love to see your take on a device like that! And always excited to see a When Phones were Fun video (do Windows Mobile/Phone!) ❤
I feel the same way about the Rabbitt R1. The 2 ways I think they will go to make money is by buying one of the GPTs or Selling ads / Deals with Uber and the like.
I love everything about the pebble flow except ( and i see why they call it the iPhone of RVs ) the price and the cool thing about the electrochromic plated glass is that in the event of a power failure l it stays opaque. And you know damn well that we'll all absolutely love to see you take a road trip in that thing
Red October reference had on the floor 🤣
I'm still amazed they've managed to pack so much technology into that ring
Thank you for liking it!
That smart ring looks amazing! 6+ days of battery? Sign me up.
So the rabbit & the pebble are definitely the two things that I was most interested in going into this video. The rabbit is kind of like a combination of what voice assistant should be along with a little bit of Windows phone not having to switch out after after app over and over.
And the pebble I had read about a long time ago and seen videos on but it was good to see people interact with it. So I am definitely interested in seeing a video on it.
That ring however is also very interesting and something that I hadn't expected to be interested in.
I also noticed the meta glasses on and I'm interested in knowing how they performed in an environment like that where it feels like they would be extremely useful.
Thank you for your likes!
That Rabbit R1, to me is just ewaste, it'll bomb. The pebble RV, now that is sweet, imagine that hooked up to a Tesla Cybertruck, the ULTIMATE off road camping experience
One thing I'd love for you to include more in future reviews is the privacy perspective. More and more gadget and apps are tracking you, and it's nice to know how intrusive it is and if it's cause for concern.
I'm pretty sure the privacy take for nearly every modern price of tech or app is "you have none'
@@joebot86 True but in many cases it varies from horrible to decent. Some are even good and deserve to be highlighted. If nothing else it'll lead to greater awareness.
Interested in the security features included in the pebble RV when traveling to remote places.
You make the best content on CZcams!
The rabbit thing seemed kind of cool, as soon as you explained the concept I thought there's no reason why it's features can't be incorporated into a smartphone as an app especially given our fascination/addiction to our phones. I don't know how many people out there necessarily want another device to carry around.
Carry gave TG a life time content now TG will come with keypad for iphone 😂😂
Nice to watch you and also Phil from Android central it's been a long time since I've seen him honestly.
Interesting devices in CES
Was great seeing Phil again!
The Rabbit R1 is the first Ai thing I would actually find some real use for.
Congrats on the great achievement!!
6:26 OMG a WINNEBAGO MAN reference!!!! Hahaha ❤❤❤
The Asus Zenbook Duo starting at 1499 is huge, makes me excited to see who else will jump into the fray
Thanks for covering actually interesting stuff
"Pebble Flow"
I feel so betrayed after those few seconds of excitement and hope...
Yes, please. Give pebble a try. It looks amazing.
The R1 is ideal for people who don't want to carry a smartphone around with them and want to literally leave the AI/apps behind while still rocking an old school dumbphone.
