Aventurine was the star of the latest patch and very quickly won everyone over. He went from a character most people despised to someone who must be protected at all costs.
He's honestly one of the best written characters in the game. It's honestly impressive how they made him an almost universally loved character.
He's a man that was cursed with luck. He always wins but the people around him lose. He's gone through a lot.
As for his tattoo... that was a catalyst for his current position.
Meanwhile he's actually a tank character in game which is why he doesn't have much combat in his trailer.
I hope you delete the part that explains his tattoo, because it contains spoilers for the story

But he already watched the trailer last week that spoiled it and the patch has been out for a month now so pretty much anyone that watched this video would already know.
He's a Preservation who keep your team alive with Shields. A defensive unit who does Follow Up attacks when he gets hit a certain amount of times.
Aventurine is a Preservation unit (Tank/Shielder class) so his kits mostly centered around providing shields for his teammates and dishing out some retaliation damage using dice as his preferred weapons, lol. The community found the guy to be insufferable and arrogant when he first appeared, but we just got an entire multiple hour long main quest arch dedicated to him, so now he's pretty loved by the community. We understand why he is the way he is and respect him for continuing to move forward against the odds. Extremely solid character development.
I'm still lost on why people hated him in the first place tbh. I can understand not liking him but some people got wayyy too into it
@@staying_silent i think it was just because he was an ass for the astral express crew when we first met him, him trying to make us move out of the way and "used" us as a friend-tool, it only sparked when he entered his former room(our room) and just "flexed it all", and since then, he mostly acted pretty "selfish" to our view, even i got annoyed and hated him for acting so "smug", and of course, he was an ipc member...so it fueled the hate since the ipc's were known as a bunch of assholes and only wanted money, and since basically we only knew he was a sort of slave, but no backstory so no one deeply cared about his whole sthick.... (Kinda also sad not really, that everyone liked sparkle for girlbossing Aventurine and saying things to him), many people's emotion drives by others action, so any assholish act you have can make people immediately be offended, angry, etc, of course...i currently like his character as a whole...yet got annoyed by his actions...but of course, Aventurine was never taught about everything so his emotional capacity and such might be lower than the normal stable person as of course, he has been traumatized and been abused and malnourished, he wa
I loved the way he carried himself from the first time we met him but I get why people could/would feel different about him. "A character you love to hate" was what I was telling my sister back then. I seem to have a type. LOL. I really enjoy characters like him in media (TV series, video games, books) but I would dislike them if I'd encounter them in real life. Same with Dr. Ratio: I love how he calls everyone in the game stupid but I would hate if someone would do that to me or others in real life. Well, my love for Aventurine grew even more with the Trailblaze Mission, of course.
There's a lot of playable character who also are bosses like Kafka, Gepard or Yanqing

Aventurine is both boss and playable character. He is also one of the main characters in latest 2.1 version story. So we basically followed his story, learned his past and fought him as final boss of the story.
Aventurine is such an amazingly well written character especially as you progress thru the story patches of Penacony. Enjoyed your reactions to these trailers! 😄 As for the song for the boss theme it actually fits very well if or when you do get to play HSR and get to the fight. The environment as well fits very well for the theme.
Aventurine is one of the best characters is the game, and the game have so many good characters, but his skills, story, past, everything about him is so good he is an excellent surprise for me, and thanks again for your reaction I really enjoy honkai Monday

Aventurine is one of my favorite characters of all time. His story in 2.1 is the best story Hoyo has told. Rarely do you get a boss fight where you actively root for the boss to win. You can’t help but want his final gamble to pay off.

Fun (non-spoiler) fact, they had to nerf the Aventurine boss fight. Thankfully, or unfortunately, I got the chance to fight him before the nerf. it was still a fun experience, the mechanics were very fun and creative. However, because Aventurine is a defensive unit, even his boss form was tanky af.
Aventurine is one of those characters that appears one way at first impression, but then you actually learn about him... HSR hasn't brought me to tears before (got a little misty-eyed here and there, but no tears) and the 2.1 story had me bawling during, after, and even a week later.

yeah i was using danil sparle tingyun bailu as my team and they are worth of months of time to build but still cannot beat him.
And i just decided to speed build my kafka black swan gepard (+bailu) with a lot of fuels
its bittersweet feeling that i got to beat him before the nerf and the fact that i used my entire fuels saved for acheron to build kafka bs gepard
@@testaccrun4830 I beat him my first try with FX, Acheron, Pela, and Loucha. Probably not a fair comparison, but my Acheron only half built, so it took awhile to whittle him down 😅. I've gotten into the habit of building characters slowly over time. For example, when I'm farming relics or orbs, I keep in mind who else could also benefit from them, saving multiple of the best and equipping them. If you're in a pinch, and need to get another character up and going, don't focus on relic sets, just look at stats. Then later on, if you choose, you can work on building a specific set.

A lot of characters in the game are boss that you have to fight at some point in the main story
the 2.1 patch quest is largely just telling us aventurine's backstory. we really get into his head and what makes him tick in the quest. a lot of people didn't like him when he first appeared in 2.0 (i was immediately intrigued because of some... forward comments other characters make), but the hoyo writing team proves they know what they're doing when they really basically just tore the guy open for us to really get into his character.
the gist of it is he's a seemingly shallow gambler who's reckless about his gambles but is just extremely lucky, but we've come to learn that he has a notable hidden depth a lot of people did not expect.
This fraiday we will have 2.2 trailer so you could watch it next monday if you want

without spoiling anything, man does in fact not touch anyone or use any weapons, unless you count chips and dice as weapons. yet somehow he is probably the most fun boss to fight and was so challenging they actually had to nerf him (which they almost never do after releasing something). And yes hes also a playable character and one of the strongest in game at that.

This Aventurine Trailer is so good that it makes me wonder what happened with Acheron. Why was her trailer so awful ? I guess they poured their entire budget into this but the quality difference is insane

I totally dislike Aventurine, but i respect him as a Character. Yes he is a Boss (somewhat)
Hoyoverse (or hoyomix) never disappoints with Music and Gamemusic, never ever, they are just too good
Well if you look at Aventurine, you see instantly why Jazz Fits him so much, and the EDM Part, thats just somewhat like a Go To thing from Hoyo, because it works
You could actually look for the Bossfight Gameplay, because by the time you get into the Game and at this point you probably forgot it already.
The Story of Penacony (the actual Story Version) is very very complicated and too much to write for a very new player and a new player to honkai games
