Amid the scandal, Ryan Garcia’s drug test came back positive for the banned substance of Ostarine a few weeks after having a dominant performance against Devin Haney.

Canelo wanted a written guarantee that Mayweather, would fight him, and Mayweather declined. Canelo threw a temper tantrum, and headlined his own main event instead on showtime. CANELO wanted the Mayweather fight, not the other way around.

Stop the bs. He was urine tested a day before. The results came back after the fight. He also took a post fight test and it was positive. Ryan is a POS, he's still taunting Haney after he cheated. What is that teaching the youth who look up to him

If they tested Ryan (Before) the fight why not wait for the results before the fight is sanctioned? You don't allow a man to fight if he's on something, it puts the other fighter at a possible disadvantage. If you test him (After) the fight it makes no difference the damage is already done. If that is the testing process in boxing then it's useless and non preventative.
Literally thousands of positive drug tests have come out post-competition. Lance Armstrong won ALL his titles before testing positive.

I really respect Robert Garcia. He was a good fighter and an even better trainer. When Garcia is in a fighter's corner, I know the fighter would be well-prepared for the fight and has potential to rise to higher levels. He's always calm and that goes a long way to settling anxious fighters down. He's honest in his assessments and doesn't speculate much if he just doesn't know the facts of any particular situation. I wish him and his fighters the best in the months and years ahead.
