Great story. Glad to see him back at it
The herniated disc that happened in January 1986 really slowed me down. I could barely walk. I was medically evacuated from my island job to the Straub Clinic in Honolulu for a week of treatment and a daily shot of morphine. I was sent home to Dr. DiMartino at the Long Beach Memorial Hospital who ended up giving me a Chymopapain injection (enzyme of the papaya plant) in February 1986. It was a miracle, and I went back to work in 2 weeks and ran my 1st of 7 consecutive Honolulu Marathons in December 1986. I ended up with 44 marathons including Boston in 1990. Too bad the drug was no longer in use after 2003! Sorry, Will went for a laminectomy which has a longer recovery time. Mine was not without risks as the drug can injure the spine.

The Golf Channel isn’t much of a golf channel. The Masters is in play and we are listening to commentators for 8 hours. No thanks. I’ll just watch cbs. Terrible channel

Terrible? Wow, when I grew up if you didn't like viewing something you just didn't watch it. Now that there's 600 channels of world wide TV and tons of blogs and podcasts. Can't you find something to praise instead of hating this one? I volunteered for years on several pro tours with the GC at events and found them to be a class group of golf professional broadcasters.
