Charlize portrayed the most bad ass female character ever in my opinion. Definitely outshined Tom and that’s why there is a movie on her character.

I'm sure the apparent difficulties between Theron and Hardy wasn't factoring in to the reason why she didn't get asked to reprise her role as Furiosa. It was a prequel, so they got someone who was more age appropriate.
