TDUSC being online only pretty much negates anything positive it had. What's the point of this game if it suddenly ceases to exist like The Crew 1 one day? Performance mode being capped at 1080p 60fps on a PS5 only makes things worse considering graphics like this can only be justified if it was rock solid 60fps at 1440p reconstructed to 2160p. Vehicle reflections also do not look great IMO, they look weird and not realistic at all. NFS HP2010, a nearly 14 year old game, had more accurate and better looking vehicle reflections.
What the hell is happening in gaming? Games look like they're a decade old and we're told it's the latest tech. They run the same they did during the PS3 era but cost double. Is this a joke the industry is putting on us?

Never lost interest in a game so fast. Graphics from 15 years ago, mostly generic buildings and scenery, half the HK roads missing or widened, lifeless environment with little traffic and no pedestrians, things like buying houses removed. It’s not Test Drive, doesn’t do the franchise justice.
And requires to be connected to the internet to even get past the splash screen being added as a cherry on top like honestly I'm just left speechless, to the point I don't think (yet) another delay would change anything about this game's faults at all at this rate
Abandoned Hong Kong city, no pedestrians, no traffic. They missed one of the best TDU features, the houses and the original TDU lifestyle, the rest are ok i guess. Obviously i will play it at some point, but not right now, maybe later in a sale discount.
