    I think there's a mistake in this video. If this is a velocity vs. time graph, shouldn't the area under the curve be displacement rather than distance? Velocity can be negative. Once the curve goes below the time axis, we should be calculating area above the curve no?

    In a speed-time graph speed is always plotted on the vertical axis and time is always plotted on the horizontal. This represents the motion of a particle accelerating from a speed at time 0 , u , to a speed v at time t

      there is no such thing as a speed-time graph, only a velocity-time graph.
      speed and velocity are not the same though.
