  • In Charlotte, North Carolina, there lives the world's largest man-made whitewater river - over a quarter mile of class II, III, and IV water. Follow me as I discover how different it is from natural waterways.

Great job. I haven’t done the comp channel yet. I didn’t want to get hurt. Hope you feel better soon.

Love it! But I don't understand that simple flushing down of a nice canal without catching any eddys.

Yes definitely weird and different! The eddies are really weird. it’s man-made so there’s no vegetation or rocks so it’s just swirly weirdness

Nice video, though it stinks to hear that you're injured! If you're out there again anytime on a weekend or for a Big Water event on Thurs/Fri, and want to learn some fun lines, challenge moves to open up out there, feel free to hit me up. A lot of fun eddies, attainments, ferries, and boofs to be had out there!

Ooh absolutely! I plan up being there a lot this summer, once I heal up! My work schedule is Thursday-Sunday normally tho, unfortunately

Hi, theres no link to ya broken arm video, in the video above its just white writing, ot clickable....
This was a good video, I've only just started with WW over here in the UK and the only WW is the Lee Valley WWC, its nothing like yours with the fake rocks but the Olympic channel looks way harder than your Comp channel. Ive only had the one intro course on the Legacy run and will be doing the Developing WW this late Spring or early summer. cant wait :) Look up Lee Valley on here, Olympic and Legacy, hope you will reply with the link to your broken wing video, thanks :)

Dang, guess the link broke. I'll look into it and the Lee Valley WWC! I'd love to get to the UK sometime and paddle over there! Thanks for watching! :)
