I grew up in the late 80's/90's and watched NFL football every week with my dad. My favorite games were the snowy/rainy ones. I don't know why, but they made me so happy. I felt for the players, but it was just so exciting to watch.

They'd laid new turf down - then Pitt hosted a NCAA game that Saturday. Then Sunday came - along with a monsoon. That turf could not have been a worse surface to play on...

Great video I have always loved weather games, so many that I have not seen. The tech that goes into stadium construction now is amazing especially rain funneling. If you do another episode like this I’d like to see a mid 80s MNF Broncos vs Packers. Opening kickoff Packers fumble taken immediately for TD and after that TD and kickoff fumble for immediately taken for TD the game was like a minute in with Packers down 14 to 0.
