key to get footage at a car show is to show your car and get the footage after you set your car up .that what i do.before the people get let in the door
You hit the head on the nail here. Like you, I actually lowrider too and captured the footage as I was involved with it. I have been making lowrider videos and putting them on the internet before CZcams. Realistically over 20-25 years now. We purchased a website to help promote my club brothers shop and our car club DownIVLife. I then made DVDs and Blurays videos for many years which produced income for sure but would basically go right back into new equipment to capture more footage. I learned the love for videos from watching Young Hoggs VHS tapes which is why I HAVE to add good music which makes the videos good. So no monetization for me. I never looked at making lowrider content as a real money maker but just as a fun side hobby to share with others which I still do. Im in it for the love of it and spreading what we do as part of the culture. Always keep those batteries charged.....in the car AND in the cameras.
Then you're doing it 100% correct. Do it for the love and a great time. People assume we are making big money since other sectors of CZcams are easily making big money, in reality we are a niche market that doesn't have many ways to make money just filming shows. So to the promotors out there that want to change us more for promoting there shows for free...relax, we are the ones people look to to see if its worth attending next year. Peace and blessings bro
Maaaaaaannnn.... that's exactly why I had to step away for a minute!! I'm coming out of pocket on all my stuff and don't make much at all off of youtube. I'll be back in a few weeks with new equipment and content, had to hit the reset button lol. I have equipment and a nice drone I only used 1 time smh... Awesome video man!!💪🏾
I just wanted to provide the facts 🤙🏾 the best thing to do is colab with others to grow. But yea man I spend some loot last year that could of went into my impala.
Thanks for info .. yeah I learned some of the stuff you shared by starting my Lowrider CZcams channel.. I think also a big aspect is not skipping shows to keep people engaged .. which is hard to go somewhere everyday Saturday and Sunday for events then go home and edit the videos .. very time consuming
Knowledge is power, if you can’t make a show on the weekend make a vlog and cover local food and life style stuff and you might get better ad revenue. Don’t sweat it too much, that was the main purpose of my video 🤙🏾

That seems to be what works best, be a guy that does cool stuff that brings in a Lowrider occasionally. Use the least amount of licensed music as possible and you’re golden.

WE GON RIDE TV was for the people not the MONEY! Lowriding is our life born and raised in LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA we didn’t monetize for years. This is funny, how you make a video on how much channels are making so you can monetize 😂
Damn OG you missed the point totally, people assume these channels are making tons money and the point of this video was to show the fact that the money isn’t there.
The thing is how do you know that those channels want people to know 🤑🤷🏾 it’s public record so let them investigate if they are wondering how much money people are making. The point was understood Kiloz ima good with it to let people know WE GON RIDE TV wasn’t in it for the money because this lowriding world is a different world 🌎 for some of us but for some us you can just walk on in and no one question who you are. Just no it was a passion and Therapy first. Even when I learned you can make money on CZcams I continue doing what was stopping me from making money, using music WE grew up on because it was about the cars and inspiring people, when we started on here CZcams was totally different. So Im looking at it differently the host with the red eyes on the cover WGRTV looks illuminated 🤔 but thanks tho because the world 🌎 will assume instead of researching and because of you or whoever made this video I found out you can come from a totally different genre doing something else enter another world cut those people views and make more money then they do. I’m starting to understand CZcams more and more so 💪🏾good looking diversity is key 🔑 to unlocking these numbers when you chasing the money🙏🏾✨
It's all about the love Ben following for a while brother I'm from 805 SM area and I do it for the love of the culture as well not the money I show my peeps in my area because no one comes down were wee at so I give my people a lil exposure and they get happy that's what's all about
Good video bro Ben following you for a bit I've Ben following Rick and pinches lowriders since he's was whit street low I've started my you tube back in 2019 I live in the central Coast of Cali 3 hours away from LA and the Bay area Im 47 years old back in the day I was in a car club and I use to take my JVC vhc camcorder to record at the shows just for me to watch at home on the vcr ,just did it for fun and I always loved to take pic and vids back then so I decided to start you tube not to make money just do it for the love and in my area we dont get any of the popular you tubers coming were I live only the homies from deadend come once a year to a big cruise we have here in Santa Maria CA ,so I did it for my local people and they love it ,wen I get a chance IL got to LA or up north I havent attended any big shows in Vegas or any other state but that's on my bucket list I just do it for the love I plan to maybe do some shirts and other things if I want to make money or this but if it don't it doesnt matter I just do it because I love what I do ,I started whit a phone my first year then I got a cheapcamcorder until I got better cameras,I put music in my videos I'm not the best but I try my hardest to show love for the people Im a single father as well and its hard believe me if I could IL be every weeend at events but like you said we don't have to we have everyone else ,I just do wat I can and I'm happy whit that ,wen I started bak in 2019 ,there wasn't any you tubers showing the lowrider custom cars only Rick whit street low first then he did his thing pinches ,there was Mancave tv ,Caliboy,we Gona ride tv, Cali swinging that's it ,now theres so many I see it wen I go to some events out of my area ,but as long as we're doing it because we love it that's what counts and to show what people go through to build the rides and all the positive they do for the communities ,that's what's all about and there stories as well, each you tuber has there own style there's no one the same but that's cool we see different sides I talk to skid and Diavlo I chat whit them on the media also LA Confidential he's like more of a vlog reporter out there in the LA area just like Diavlo I watch them as well as you my bro love to see other diferent rides and see so many other people from all over the US or other countries that have adopted this culture and that's a beautiful thing thanks for the video brother and keep snapping and also One Bad Pup on you tube he's Ben doing it for a while also he's a good friend of mine he's out of Oxnard CA ❤️ 😎 📸📸
First off thanks for the support bro, Its awesome you're out there recording and it sounds like you have a passion for it and enjoy it and that's what's its all about. Its like restaurant's there are thousands of spots to get a burger or taco but we all have a favorite that might differ from our friends and that's ok. I just don't want people to think we are making thousands per video and just provide the facts. We are out there for the love of it and we need to talk to one another when we are out there. Hey bro, I totally get what you’re saying. I started my channel to document my Lowrider Impala build for my kids. That way they can look back on it when they are my age. Being from Dayton, Ohio you and I have crossed paths at the shows before. When I see an actual content creator coming through such as yourself, I just chill out and let you guys do your thing. No biggie for me though. I can see how having to many cameras around can be an issue. It’s all good, I’m just there for the moment. Keep up the great work. See ya at the next show!

Thanks for being open, before getting shadow banned was TikTok paying? Are you monetized on IG? I just want people who think we are making thousands a month realizes its a grind and there isn't much money there; so if they plan on making money its the wrong reason.
@@KilozMedia At the time Tiktok was averaging $50-75 a month. I hit 311K followers then all of a sudden no more views. I see a lot people Shadow banned from Violations. Now maybe $5-10 a month. I hardly post on there. What it did was helped build my Following & Branched out to Company’s. I got my own “Sittinlow” checkout code for Krazy Kutting & also Vision Industries! So I get kick back money and discounted parts for my Rides. Just Branching out, opening doors. Yeah definitely don’t make Thousands doing this. But it helps to upgrade my Go Pro every year. It’s all for the Love of the game, I enjoy it & Blessed with working half the year being a Gold Miner. Instagram Making noise paying the most. Reels, Shorts we’re it’s at.

I never thought about it until Caliboy brought it up in a video, was the music people play at shows in his raw video's would get a copyright strike. Blows my mind that that could happen when making content. I know he figured out if you slow it down it would be okay, but still. Great video as usual 🙏
Thanks 🙏🏽 Caliboy is the closest thing we have in the Lowrider community currently to someone who appears in the videos and has had character development over his CZcams career. What you do is awesome and shows the passion and heart that you have for this culture. Its hard nowadays with social media because everybody is a 'photographer' and makes videos. People just don't care if you think about that whistlindiesel is still filming all his stuff with cell phones compared to a channel who really tries to put out quality videos......
Whistlindiesel is a prime example of what is available, he just bought a Bugatti off CZcams and has a new huge ranch in Tennessee. He provided consistent content that’s always entertaining. Thank you for your support all the way from Germany 🇩🇪🙏🏽
When making consistent content my page its about $600 to $800 a month but i havent added content for a few months

LOL, I'm sure everyone would want to be the only one doing the only thing they want to do.... When you aren't creative enough to set your craft further away from the competition then you only have yourself to blame..... Anyone can take a foto or shoot a video. not everyone can edit content and create something worth watching. Most "you tubers" are to dollar driven to hire a good editor........
Very good point, I just wanted to let people know it’s more then doing shows if you want to make money off CZcams. Subscribers are good but putting out good content is more important 👏🏽

I can tell you’re a Midwest guy, for what ever reason Porkys never caught on outside of the Midwest but as a youth when I saw a 32 switch panel I was like 😳 for it’s time they were innovative with their dump valves for sure even though they were off the shelf fenner stone parts.
