Snow is falling this morning and into this afternoon across much of western Pennsylvania. In Grove City, around 5" of snow accumulated causing roads to become snow covered and slick. Traffic can be seen moving very slowly through the area. Plows are out trying to keep up with the snowfall rates on the roadways. The snow caused reduced visibilites for a period of time. People can be seen walking on the sidewalks in the heavy snow.

I lived in Grove City in the 70's , And we had to walk in the streets because the side walks had 2 too 3 feet of snow on them . Grove City is in the Snow Belt !

How is 5 inches possible? I am 35 miles south of there in Cranberry Township and we got 1/10 of an inch and even in Butler they got at most 3/4 of an inch. I know its early but it seems my area is robbed of higher snow amounts every year.
