      don't think so ,as soon as the attack dogs began the conservatives started down in the polls , it's time to think , the origional platform and policy described was hopeful and seemed to indicate an upward swing, In fact prior to the hate and attack crap the conservatives were narrowly in the lead.     What I find absolutely telling is that virtually everything about the Liberals (and probably all partisanship) is that nearly everyone that wasn't a Liberal saw the problem with the Tofino trip immediately. Are the Liberals just intellectually slow? Why did it take them so long to notice what everyone else noted immediately?
    My hunch (and hope) is that many Liberals could see it too. The HUGE difference is that the Liberals aren't allowed to say what is obviously true. It makes them sound so anemic, so frail (and they are). They are not allowed to say a word that has not been given prior party sanction.

Even Tories concede her Nafta work. And with a year or two for her to govern before another election, enough time for Canadians to get used to her as PM but not enough for anyone to get tired of her, she should get her own mandate, then we'll see how fast she wears on the electorate. Canadians famously don't vote new governments in, we throw old ones out, but she should be enough of a departure from Trudeau to not seem same old same old, imho;)
