I chat with Gill from Scaped Nature about the beautiful Moss Art that she creates. More affordable and accessible than many aquariums and aquascapes, with zero maintenance, these are the perfect way to connect with nature!
Keep on scaping!

The whole room is a feast for the eyes! Scaped Nature is one of the most beautiful shops I've seen. The moss art was so unique and beautiful I'm going to add this to my list of "happy places"😁 this is definitely something I would put all over my home in a heartbeat! It looks like it would just create peace in a room! Thanks for sharing! 🙏❤️🐟🌱🌿
That was wonderful. Gill and Ray are two sides of one beautiful coin.
I really enjoy your visits with Ray and Gill.. They seem like such nice folks and the work they do is beautiful. Thanks for sharing George👍🌿👍🌿👍
Bought mine 2 years ago in a NADA store in Antwerp. Always wanted to get more after. Loving the one with the twigs.
Bought one for Claire for her birthday and we love it. Same length as the tank. Looks great.
Great piece on the Moss Art! Just amazing how they can bring it all together in a picture frame! Really need an eye for that. Gill has the eye for it. Thanks George for the video!
Such a beautiful space! What a lovely, talented woman. The moss art is so wonderful, uplifting, comforting and creative. Thank you George for this great interview.
Was waiting for this and it didn’t disappoint. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing, George
Further proof I'm just a computer and all you guys are a figment of my imagination, I was looking at scaped nature moss art yesterday!
The moss art looks very natural. I want to make it by myself. It will be great, if a video of how to make the moss art, upload in this channel...
Great in-depth video on this topic George. I saw the previous episode at Scaped Nature and was immediately impressed with the moss art. Have been in touch with them this week about a piece.
What a Beatiful moss!!
I can't believe it's maintenance free.
Because its dead.
Really incredible and very informative! I had no idea that so much thought and effort went into the creation of a piece like that. Awesome! 😀🌳🌱👍
I wish there was something like this a bit closer to home on the south coast. Hopefully will be able to make the trip one day. It looks beautiful
Absolutely stunning. I want one!

I want one 😍
Awesome work by Gill and thanks George for this nice video like your other videos. Can you make another video on making those frames.
By the way which moss is used live or artificial?
Thanks
Parag
It’s preserved. So real but treated to last with no maintenance. Feels just like it does it nature 😊
What can you do to keep the color.once starts fading?
Mine always croaks 😩 Gorgeous store!
100% looks like a forest from above
Great video and alternative option. Alberta Canada is very dry. Wonder if it would survive the dryness?
These pieces are only intended for indoor. We have yet to experiment with outdoor moss art, watch this space 😉
Do we need to spray water time to time? If no, how does it survive without water?
Wolfgang Amadeus MossArt :-)
👌👍
Give me u r sagiston about twinstar sterilization uni is it useful or not plz
It looks nice but if I understand right, the moos has been treated to be preserved. Gill said its not dead but it doesn't grow anymore. How is this working? I assume the moos is dead but keeps some of its physical features?
Yes, absolutely. The moss keeps its physical attributes, which naturally filters air
i know is cool but idk I always weird out when I find my plant or animals has died and we just looking at them. I feel sad when knowing the things that look beautiful and life but it preserved or died things. I felt disconnected when I know it.
👍💓👍
Ah, _preserved_ moss
Sooo, its dead?
Some prefer moss art over Beethoven. 🤷🏻♂️
Why do people fix moss for wall art. Why cant it be living
It looks nice George but her explanations are kinda BS don't you think? Glycerine puts the moss in a dormant state. It doesn't die but it does dry out. I dunno. I'm not sure this lady knows much science bro
Apart from looking beautiful and being a great way of bringing low-maintenance greenery indoors, preserving moss retains its physical air filtering attributes - the fact it’s fuzzy and/or feathery gives it this properties by nature. Glycerin prevents cellulose from drying out therefore keeping a good level of moisture and making it supple to work with. Because it still retains a lot of water, the moss is in a dormant/stabilised state. Gill🌿
