Question: I have a Maschine MK3, can I use all my purchased expansions (like Bisoscape, Gravity etc.) also on the Maschine+ ?
You can definitely use expansions on all your Maschine devices 👍

I'm sorry but all who say that the Maschine Plus is lacking when it comes to the ability to make full productions on it standalone should watch everything that Jeremy does regarding this unit. He does so much with it for fantastic results. The CPU doesn't seem to be an issue here. I also don't have any CPU issues either when creating solely on the Maschine Plus. Great video guys!!!

you kind of have to play up the strengths of any device to make best use of it anyway
Still, insufficient processing power and RAM cannot be remedied, Maschine+ looks to have been over-ambitious.
All that aside, how does the Maschine+ fare in production using only NI effects and user/NI samples and loops? Underpowered for just that?
@Trensharo Please tell us about the projects you attempted on the Maschine Plus that you were unable to do because of it's compute limitations. And don't whine that you can't load all of your Kontakt libraries into it because it was never designed for that in the first place. There are plenty of people on here who are able to make great music with the Maschine Plus standalone. That you aren't able to do that says more about your creative limitations than it does about the Maschine Plus.
These type of videos are very important! Very informative, wouldn’t mind him being a regular showing off the new expansions that release over time!

Wonderful; however some feedback for NI. If you're logged into your account the sale should show you what you already own. With so many expansions over the years its hard to track. I was searching Native Access as I went but missed one I'd bought in 2016, dangit!
It's unbelievable that companies don't do this. They have all of their products in a database. They have all of your known purchases in a database. It's simple boolean checks. Simple development. Toontrack finally did it for their expansions.
YES!! This is the stupidest part of NI. I have literally been shopping and just not bought anything because I couldn't see what I own. How hard would it be to just have an Unowned page???

You can see all the expansions you own in Native Access. So when you see one you want to buy, just double check it’s not already in the list of products you own. That’s what I did. Easy peasy

Halcion sky and Arcane Attic, with some Raw Voltage and Helios Ray. Expansions are seriously good stuff to profile towards certain genre. minimal house one is great too.

I’m mainly a keyboards and piano guy. But I use all the expansions in battery for ideas and to grab loops. I’m tempted to grab a machine to change up my work flow…will the older ones still work with these or do I need the audio card versions when I have an Apollo interface?

feature request..stability and ability to program synths u provide for plus like massive fm8 etc..
like match up parameter names with knobs..right now it’s just presets..near impossible to
program these synths..can be done ,but this feature would really make the m+ work right

I'm curious what the device in on top of the Komplete interface is, seems to also be streaming audio.
Looks like one of the audio analyzer gadgets from Aliexpress and eBay.
It seems like it's a device he's using to record him talking (for this video) and the waveform displays in real time just like in a DAW when you record something. The waveform seems to match up with what he's saying e.g when there's a pause in his voice there's a gap in the waveform.
Very cool I was wondering are these expansions compatible in stand-alone mode?

Question I would be super grateful if you could clarify - I'm still pretty new to the NI platform - i see that there are some expansions that are not for standalone Maschine+ mode but yet they contain massive patches. Why would I not be able to use those massive patches in standalone? Thanks for any insight - I'm still trying to understand the architecture of the NI paradigm 🤯

@@phloog as it stands, you’d be better off with an MK3, a lot of bug issues, cpu problems, etc. it is a bit ridiculous that we paid such a big price for the problems we have. Some updates here and there but nothing to solve some of these problems. I personally love mine, I have too, because it was my first big piece of gear, so I’m just dealing with it

I'm so confused by expansions. if you use those samples in your own creations can you release your song? For example that little "give you my love vocal" if you use that in your own creation including the samples of drums and synths, is that ok. or are they just for practice. If they are just for practice what in Maschine can you use for your own releases?

Do you have to have maschine for these expansions or can you use these sounds in a daw like logic or ableton?
Hey the expansions have a mixture of maschine kits that are designed for maschine specifically but you also get all the samples in wav format so all the one shots and loops can be used in any daw. If you own battery 4 you can use these packs as well within battery in your other daws
Hello i bought the Maschine mk1 and years later i bought the MK2 There was a water main break in my apartment building on jan 14 i returned home this Friday feb 18 and all my music equipment was gone apparently they heired a random temp service to clean out are refrigerators and I'm not getting any answers*I hate to ask for hand outs but i noticed that you send out units to youtubers although im not currently very active on CZcams i really enjoyed using your products

Hello, I'm new to machine plus. I can’t install extensions on the device, I don’t understand how it works. An extension purchased and added to ni access (for example, Polar Flare) does not appear in the library on the device. An attempt to download and rescan to an SD card is not successful - only one shot works in user plugins. Is there any installation guide on the device? Need help.

I own a Maschine Micro AND a Maschine Jam and would love to upgrade to the Maschine+....can the old hardware be legally resold without my expansions?
No idea on the expansions, but keep your Jam when you get the Maschine+. They work together wonderfully in a dawless setup.
You always keep the digital products tied to your hardware when selling your device. On top of that, the buyer will also receive them when registering the hardware license to its account 🎁
@@NativeInstruments I’m confused. I was led to believe that if you buy a used Machine, you couldn’t get the software unless the previous owner included a transfer number. Is that no longer the case? That’s what’s keeping me from buying a used Maschine +.
Will these work with komplete kontrol mk32?
I own them all the problem is NI Expansions are overwhelmingly hip hop. They have a great opportunity to expand into other genres as if producers need 150 hip hop kits
Probably not a coincidence that 7/9 of these are newer packs or pack that weren't included with the last big Kontakt sale....................
I would choose an improvement of the Maschine Software or at least that you kill some bugs there.

@@NativeInstruments I appreciate that! But there has been an arpeggiator bug, where it has been stucked in chord mode. This bug has been there for over 2 years and I gave up hope that it will be getting patched someday. Would it help if I send a video to the support? Or do they already know that?

These are the type of videos we need from native instruments; a lot of the expansion packs sound great, listening to the projects in groups, but often I find myself wondering how I can turn it into something different in my own projects.

It seems they recycle a lot of sounds from different kits. For instance, a lot of the sounds I heard from ‘Basement Era’ are in ‘Prospect Haze’.
All the expansions rule. Some aren't for me, though.
That Opaline Drift is on the verge of sounding like it came out of Japan. Prismatic Bliss is also close.
"Aegerine 1" in Warped Symmetry comes with what sounds like a processed cough? I got a great laugh out of that!

Is this company still active or developing any products? This Maschine is some old thing from literally 10 years ago. I remember when Reaktor 6 came out like 7 years ago, then NI gave up on all development, or all the original creators left the company or something like that and the only ones who are left are some maintenance workers to run the website and keep selling the old products based on the name NI used to have. I don't think NI will ever create anything again.

Really amazing how you companies can repackage old or classic sounds as whole new libraries. A theme can be easily made..
it doesn’t need to be sold as such.. eastern, cyber, chill hop..
ALL individual sounds.... from a bunch of classic libraries or drum packs..
just sell someone PRODUCING their own style OF CLASSIC LIBRARIES &/or a few custom vocal recordings... and boom..... 😬“new”😬 library to sell.

I don't like this video. I listen to this on your official website every day. You just need to give a directory, up to 2 minutes and you can do it. I'd like to see you talk about how to use the MASCHINE software and expand and then let the client make their own music. There are also those massive presets inside where exactly they are and how to use them. I don't know any of this, and I haven't found any tricks videos. It would be nice if someone helped me.
