So many rock fans DO NOT GET IT. We are living with the legends now... go see them. Yes even after Taylor... he was awesome for sure this band is simply bigger than him.... Dave Grohl is a national treasure. This band leaves a larger footprint than Beatles or Zep or ACDC. They are all so great cuz mostly they were first... Foo's are carrying all of that and doing great things. And the band changes as it should. Some people cry they simply want 1997 Foos forever. I get that... but that is not natural and its not good. Evolving music with an aging and evolving man. This is perfect. Wasting Light is the best Foo's I have heard. Love almost all of the earlier stuff... love some of the later stuff. This is the best.

The latest album is what sold me, personally. I bought their first couple records on cd, back in the 90s, and I developed sort of a middle-of-the-road attitude about them. They've always sort of stood in the shadow of Nirvana, whether or not that's fair, it's basically the truth. Their latest album, however, is one of the best albums I've heard by ANY band of the last twenty years or so. In my opinion, But Here We Are is sort of like Foo Fighters' Nevermind. It hits hard for me, in a totally different way than other FF albums, and I dare say that it's the first time that Dave Grohl really put his heart out there on an album, and lyrically, it's unforgettable and a new standard for their band. It's a shame that it took a double tragedy, but even this is of little surprise: throughout time, art seems to take on a new dimension when the artist is suffering so badly that they use their art as an escape mechanism (therapy). That's the difference with the new FF album - there's real, nearly unavoidable, weight to the songs that was not there in the past. Sorry for the long rant (TL;DR!) See you at the next show. 🙂@@jamesbarrick3403

@@BazekBlu it usually takes some time for me to warm up to a new album it's always been that way for me. Personally I think wasting light in 2011 was their high water Mark I love that album every single cut. I'm going to have to listen to the new album some more and get used to it I'm sure I'll love it once I'm very familiar with it

Anyone who says the Foo Fighters suck is just ridiculous 😅lollll…. I understand everyone has different taste 👅 but this is just plain, raw, amazing, hard working talent 💯👊🏻👊🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️Give credit where it’s due.
The hardest working band on the planet. Just look at their history .
I’ve seen random people comment saying they suck and I laugh everytime. Negative Nancy’s.. 😂
