A big Thank You to all the amazing people who leave me comments and have supported this bird bath video! You're the best!! XXOO
nice design thanks for sharing it. you might want to consider using a silicone used in bathrooms instead of that glue (less toxic).
@@chrishayes5755 Hi Chris 😀 I’m so happy you enjoyed the bird bath ~ the beads are glued on the exterior part of the plate, (underside) so they are not in contact with the water at anytime. The silicone idea is a gold alternative. I hope you have a great day, friend! 🌸
This is such a beautiful idea for Mother’s Day! Thank you for sharing 💜God bless!
@@ntamidator3756 Thank you so much, friend! 😍

Hi, I just found you and this cool project. I love your verbal presentation tremendously, no silly talk, no droning on and on, etc. ( I guess I've heard too many of those kinds, lol. )
Thank you so much, Peggy! I'm wasn't sure if people enjoy my presentation and I am so happy you stopped by and left me this sweet comment ~ Happy Crafting, New Friend!
This tutorial was just so well made. No loud music, you spoke slowly enough to be understood and you didn’t rush through the tut itself. My compliments to you for a great video and a really lovely project. I can’t. wait to make one to hang on my tree! I wonder, could this also be used to put wild bird seed mix in to feed them as well? I live in Europe and we don’t have any squirrels in my area.
Hello friend! Thank you so much for your kindness, I truly appreciate your thoughtful comment and I am so happy you like the birdbath ~ I think it would work perfect as a bird feeder, possibly add a roof of some sort to protect the seed from the weather ~ I hope you have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting! XXOO
This is one of the few birdbath ideas I've seen that does not involve grouting and sealing the inside of the birdbath, which has always concerned me. I wouldn't want to use anything that might be toxic to the birds. The glass pie plate and glass beads underneath, instead of on the inside, is just genius! It looks amazing and will be soooo! easy to clean. Thank you for posting this.
Thank you so much, Clarendon Lady! I am so happy you like the birdbath and I agree with you 100%, I don't ever want to use anything that could possibly harm the wildlife ~ we've had a drought here this year and the birds are enjoying having some fresh, clean water to bath in and drink ~ Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! XXOO
E6000 definitely does adhere glass to glass. I’ve been gluing these blue beads to one of the dollar tree mason jars. It dries clear. No haze.
Thank so much, Jean! I'm making another bird bath for a gift, with def. use the E600 for that one! I hope you're having a great day! XXOO
Yes, I’ll confirm e6000 is super doable and will withstand harsh conditions outside. Items I’ve used it on over 20 years ago still hold on. Great idea using the wreath as frame! Very pretty and higher end looking.
@@Brendi6969 Thank you so much, Stacy! I can't wait to try the E600 on my next bird bath! I always like to get feedback and see which products have worked for other crafters~ I hope you're having a great day! XXOO
jean martin what type of glue? i will get some
sharon mcmann-morelli it’s called e6000. You should be able to get it in any craft or hardware store. The work time is kind of long, but once it is stuck, it’s pretty much stuck for good.
I was just looking online for a hanging birdbath and seriously, I couldn't find one as cute and unique as this one. Plus it'll be made with love which will make it extra special. So it's off the craft store I go tomorrow. Thanks for the easy-to-follow instructions also. 👍
Thanks so much! 😊 I'm so happy you like and Happy Crafting, Friend!
So cute. Thanks!
Thank you so much, friend!
This is so beautiful!
Thank you so much, Peggy! 😊 I'm so happy you like it, friend!
This is the easiest and most reasonably priced to make bird bath I've seen thus far. TYFS
Thank you so much, Candeekissez! You are so sweet and I am so happy you like the birdbath! I hope you're having a wonderful day! XXOO
Cute idea but I wonder if it would be safe to drink from a glass with that glue inside. Providing the glue-water isn't toxic, flat stones in it would make it shallower and not slippery....two things birds love for bathing.
Did you watch the video? The stones are glued on the outside not inside. So no worries for the birds ; )
@@Denita_Wishart - OMG I skipped through the video and didn't pay close attention. Soooooooooooo sorry. I'll have to do penance.

This is a really sweet idea! Shared 🐦🐦🐦
Thank you so much, Georgia!! 😊
I love this bird bath ❤❤ 7:55
Thank you so much, my Maine friend Brenda!😊
Yes E6000 will stick to glass but sticking to glass is not the problem. After being exposed to the sun, the E6000 will break down and eventually fall apart. I have found that there is no rhyme or reason for that time frame. I have some outside garden things that have lasted for 8 years and some that only lasted 2. I also think that they may have changed their formula and that is why I have one that is from an earlier project that is still going strong. Great project !!
Thanks so much, Dianne! I'm so happy you like the bird bath! That was my concern about the E6000, some people say it works great, I wonder if they did change the formula, that makes perfect sense. . .I'm going to make another bird bath as a gift, I'll try the E6000 and see if it will hold up to the elements! So happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful day!! XXOO
Just be who you are and never give up. It’s that kid I love. Grandma
I just made mine now all I have to do is paint it I can't wait to put it out so simple.thsnkbyou

Thank you so much, Evelyn 😊 I'm so happy you enjoyed it, friend!
E6000 is the best glue ever.
I agree, Wendy! It's the best! 🌞 Happy Crafting!
beautiful, well done, pleasant to listen. thank you
Thank you so much, Tiki Tiki! 🌞❤️🌻
So I did use the E6000 clear adhesive and it worked quickly without any milky residue but it is more expensive. Thank you for your idea. I am looking for to having bird visit their new watering hole.
Awesome, Elizabeth! I am going to give it a try too! I know you'll have some happy birds in your yard! XXOO
This is so cute, and so easy to do! I bet it makes a pretty addition to your garden as well as a welcoming spot for the birds!
Love your birdbath. It really turned out pretty. Love the color. It's so fun to watch the birds in them. I have this 1 mockingbird that flips over on his back and flaps his wings like he's doing the backstroke in a pool. Have a great day. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida🌴😎💙😎🌴
Thanks so much Elizabeth! I've seen a couple of birds take a bath (and maybe a little drink too) and it's just so fun to watch them! I have a mockingbird here too, I hope mine with do the backstroke, LOL! I would love it!! Thanks again for all your support! I really appreciate it, you're the best!! Hugs!!!

This is the best! Your instructions were on point! Going to try this!
Thank you so much, Rebecca! ❤️
Real nice🐦⚘
Great tutorial...
Thank you so much, Tami!
Another thing about the E6000 glue. Besides the fact that it dries clear, it won't fall apart in the heat. I live in Florida and the intense heat kills the other glues. E6000 will hold up to the heat with out losing any stones or other objects.
Thanks so much Tammy! I am so happy someone has worked with the E6000 in warmer weather and it works great ~ I am definitely going to give it a try ~ Happy Crafting, Friend!
It’s such a great idea for the little Bird Friends! I wonder if I could use a clear plastic curved dish that you put under a large planter? It may not be as durable but I have a bunch of them but no glass pie pans, what do you think?
This is awesome Lori!!
Thanks so much, KB!
Thank you I love it
Thank you so much, Ruth! 🌞

Thanks so much Coffee Girl! So happy you liked the video! Hugs!!
Great fyi think I will make this.
Excellent choice of components. The finished item looks as though the wire frame and hanger were designed for that birdbath. The paint helped create that effect.

This is a great video. May I just suggest for the future use aquarium adhesive so it is food safe. The birds will be drinking this water also. Thank you.
Thank you so much, Elaine! 😊 I glued the beads on the underside of the plate so they aren't near the drinking water ~ but I love the idea of aquarium adhesive for future projects!
