My mom drove a camper by herself in the 80s from Portsmouth RI to FL.. RVs have a special place in my heart
One of the things I appreciate your channel is that you are not 6 to 8 weeks behind. One thing that turns me off as a viewer is to be sitting in the snow and watch channels that are showing late August/Sept videos in the heat.

We need some food = Cole needs a beer. Especially after a rough work week. Like you, we rarely stay at "Camping Resorts", opting for boondocking or NPs (Senior Pass Discount means 1/2 off camping), but once in a while it's nice to see how the other half lives. Our motto is "Save where you can so you can spend where you want".

If you are still in Pigeon Forge, look up Duval's in the Smokies AKA Buddy Bear in the Smokies RV Campground. They recently changed their name but it is a great RV park right on the river. All paved and 45ish a night. there is nothing wrong with relaxing in a resort. We use them to decompress, take care of laundry, charge the batteries, clean the tanks our real good, and not worry for a couple days.
It's always good to shake things up from your "new" normal and from the looks of it, you both needed it!
