I've heard a LOT of people try and cover Kirk, but Cizzie is by far the best I've heard note for note!!!!!!
I realize this video is 4 years old, so you've probably already improved this, but for others who have this problem ... If you're playing a song like this where the rhythm speed is throwing off your timing between your picking hand, and fretting hand, consider alternating up and down pick strokes rather than just using down strokes. You'll be able to keep your picking hand stationary so you don't have the recover time of your hand moving back into position. You can still attack the strings with the same tonal ferocity even if it doesn't have the same visual ferocity. I've now seen your renditions of Blackened, and ...And Justice For All, and I love them! Great job!
I started teaching myself when I was 5, and since I'm left-handed, and I didn't want to piss my dad off by restringing his guitar, I learned to play right-handed guitars upside down. It's fun to watch other guitarists try to flip their heads upside down as they watch me play lol

Haplo Teromaximus In thrash metal, downpicking, if done with a fast tempo, can be super heavy. Alternate picking kinda kills that heavyness.

Keep on rockin! You are a very talented guitar player. Alot of morons don't realize that recording devices don't always translate the sound very well so it makes the tone sound off. It may sound completely different in that room then it does on the recording. Keep up the good work!

Coss Barguirdjian I may have exagerated a bit, the cover isnt bad, but not too good either, I am not harassing her or anything. I just suggest she should work on technique - lower the distortion level, and practise the accuracy of hitting tones right. Anyone can record a fast shred solo with dist on 12 o'clock. And I dont think that the statement about girls posting video is necessarily true. I have seen loads of crappy covers by girls, overwhelmed with praising comments just because its a girl. If it was a dude with that level of playing he would be criticized hard. And I dont believe that anyone means the kitchen jokes seriously, if he/she does, then they have some issues.

however, i said that cos during the last period i've watched a lot of guitar covers here on youtube and every time a girl was playin i saw a lot of dumb comments about how she was completely crap and things even if she wasnt, of course there also were awful covers made by girls filming theirselves wearing pretty nothing, just to look cool and "different", and the comments were "marry me" and shit, so u too are right.
and by the way, if she were a boy, and as u said. would be criticized hard, i would have defended him just like i did before :)

Девчонка молодец на но 4.50 уже видно что очень сильно устала правая рука. Но композиция сложная, полностью играется даунстроком. Я могу сыграть лучше лубой кусочек из этой композиции, но уже после 60-100 секунд правая рука устаёт так, что начинаю косячить, композицию целиком с играть не могу.

the low e string picking is so lazy, you always drop out of rythm a little(its really little but hurting my ears a bit :D), but all in all its just awesome ;)
If you had been alternate picking you would have done a much better job and it would have been less work than trying to do all downstrokes.

Oscar Copa Had to be right couse she didn´t fail.
Oscar Copa No she was palm muting too hard which cause the floyd rose to be pushed out of tune.

Oscar Copa when I first got my first Floyd guitar I had to adapt my technique to stop putting the guitar out of tune after about a day or so I got used to a light right hand
This was terribly sloppy, it wasn't too bad, but the performance definitely isn't good enough for 5k likes, most are dudes that think it is hot that a girl is playing the guitar. Which kinda is, but not when you can hear multiple mistakes every 10 seconds. Never let looks overcome skill, and please don't bitch at me for my opinion.
I agree, i'm no Hetfield myself but there are plenty of mistakes here, and I think most of the notes I heard completely discarded are either strictly for her cover or she just missed them. Also, don't use my shirt cover as an example, I play the song entirely different now
