To see how he started, and where he ended up is just great. When he came to OTT as a throw in on a trade he was just barely NHL caliber. He grew into a monster of a player then OTT had that Chara Redden choice to make. Sucked for us, but what he became in BOS was awesome. Enjoy your well deserved retirement Big Z, its the ribs!

I loved the way zdeno played on the ice the passion for his entire career he followed his dream and career as a one of the greatest defensemen of all time in the National hockey league and I send my congratulations on his retirement thanks chara for playing with the Boston bruins and may no fan or anyone forget your number 33 and the passion you had for hockey 🏒⛸thanks for playing zdeno chara and again amazing performance during the 2011 Stanley cup finals
