      Thank you so much for watching and kind words! 🙌 I'm glad it was useful. The Nubass is my first Volca and I am very pleased and impressed by this little machine. I say it is first also because I am really holding myself from getting some of the other Volcas! lol

      @@RandomNoiseMusic I can’t believe you don’t have more! Some of the volcas are so much fun and capable of great sound manipulation. The sample can add what the E2 lacks when it comes to sampling and I love my E2!

      @@RandomNoiseMusic I need some help, I have the Sample2 (Master) Nubass (Slave) & Keys (Slave) ..Anyways there setup correctly but the nubass & keys play somewhat faster than the Sample2 not sure whats going on ..Any ideas? Or is it a setting im missing hidden under the Function button?

      Hey, you need to change that in the global settings. If you looked at the manual this is under the sync input/output uni (#8). Do you have the manual? you can see it here: cdn.korg.com/us/support/download/files/cbf3490d918940101e3298eddad56c20.pdf?response-content-disposition=inline%3Bfilename%2A%3DUTF-8%27%27volca_nubass_OM_EFGSCJ1.pdf&response-content-type=application%2Fpdf%3B

    Very informative. I'm going to go buy one immediately. I'm glad I found this before I bought a Behringer TD-3. Even though the TD-3 sounds great, and exactly like the original 303, it also inherits the design flaws of the famously bad sequencer on the 303. The Nubass is the best in all categories. And it even has swing. It will one day rule the world.

    i think you may forgotten to mention one of the coolest features of this unit and it is the ability to do chain patterns!

      You are right! And I have covered it here after that:

    Also you can chain memory Paterns together. I think Its Done by holding memory And than taping or sliding memory parts.

  • @Mud9
    @Mud9 Před rokem +1

    One thing that I can't figure out, if you are programming step by step, you can't hold a note right? You can only hold a note if you program it with active record?

    thank you for a nice and easy demonstration,,i bought these adaptors, you can change the voltage on,for my volca units. but still i have the batteries in? that must be wrong-..right?

    • @RandomNoiseMusic
      @RandomNoiseMusic  Před rokem

      Thanks for watching, glad it was useful! 😊 I think if you are not using it with the batteries it is always a good idea to take them out and only put them back when you need to use it on the go or without the adaptor

    I own this Volca Nubass and was wondering if anyone else find it doesn’t cut thru your mix? And I don’t mean it’s low voltage headphone output.

    • @RandomNoiseMusic
      @RandomNoiseMusic  Před rokem

      It does need some extra help, I’ll usuealy throw a compressor, overdrive or both on it beside sending it to a delay or reverb

  • @SoFloCichlids
    @SoFloCichlids Před 3 lety +1

    Sequencer is a lot more intuitive than the 303. I like to jam and I feel my TD-3 is not conducive to immediate jams. Already put it up for sale so I can grab one of these!

  • @Gainn
    @Gainn Před 2 lety +1

    Do you know if the headphone socket works properly if you plug in a mono jack?
    Seems like a waste to use a stereo mixer channel for something that's mono.

    • @RandomNoiseMusic
      @RandomNoiseMusic  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it does, the Nubass is mono not stereo. I'm using a mono jack to connect it

    Hi, it is possible to combine patterns and switch between them while playing?

    • @RandomNoiseMusic

      Yes, you can either switch between them or chain them

  • @rishikhanna3073
    @rishikhanna3073 Před 2 lety +1

    hey, can anyone help me figure out if we can chain patterns in this volca?

    • @RandomNoiseMusic
      @RandomNoiseMusic  Před 2 lety

      Yes, you can. In the same way you select the pattern when pressing the memory button, just select one pattern and hold it while you extend to the last one you want to be in the chain. So for example if you select 1 press it and then press 4, the chain will cycle through 1,2,3,4 & back to 1.

    • @RandomNoiseMusic
      @RandomNoiseMusic  Před rokem +1

      What do you mean by import samples to patterns? There is no way to do that on a Volca Nubass, but I think there are some software or plugins that can convert audio to midi. I think Ableton Live can do that too if I am not wrong
