Bowser's Inside Story was the closest Mario ever got to being a Kingdom Hearts game. Seriously, Fawful uses the power of darkness and his final form is essentially a Pureblood Heartless.

Well, they do work on kh music officially, and this song is basically kh music already lol.

I originally wasn't going to post this until the full album was ready, but it just came out so much better that I couldn't wait. :)
One of the big things is I was able to find some synth instruments in KH2's soundfonts (Gummi ship & TRON levels) that made it able to be much more accurate. Also learned a lot more about using this font & how to mix it.

KIngdom Hearts: Pete Inside Story
This makes me want bowser to be a Secret boss in KH. Actually thinking more about it bowser will be a really good boss because he has a dark version. Then after you defeat him you get a Mario key blade.
It'd be funny if the next new KH game we get is a Switch exclusive and has a secret similar to that.

@@TackyRackyComixNEO objection. It’s not 100 percent possible. Since the ps5 and Xbox I can’t get better names jest came out why would they put a switch exclusive. And let’s say in the future they do it the switch doesn’t even have kingdom hearts three. So why would it a have a exclusive? The 3Ds made sense. Make A lower graphical game and put on there. But the switch kinda has to look as good as the new gen. I would say is I need to know did come out a new consul would it be a strong as the new new. There A lot of factors here. They all need to line up to make a exclusive. Also Disney’s evolved so yea.
@@PrimerPulse750 I'm not saying it's going to happen. I'm just saying there's precedent for Kingdom Hearts games being exclusively released on Nintendo consoles. Would it make sense to do when barely any games in the series are playable on the same system? No. But they've been doing this since literally the second game in the franchise, so it isn't nearly as unlikely as you think.

Wow. Didnt expect this one to translate this seamlessly onto this soundfont. Youre either too good at this or Yoko is Yoko everywhere. No surprise many fans of her work keep playing the joke of her crossing her musical styles from one franchise to the other, very specifically between Mario and Luigi, and Kingdom Hearts. Both series are some of my favorite ever, so you can tell how excited I am as I write this.

Even in some of her earlier games, Like The Punisher arcade game from '93, the music sounds like KH, even though that game is older than even FFVI. While Uematsu was making Dancing Mad, Yoko had already established her trademark style.

Wow this is incredible. This theme always sounded like an important boss battle from kingdom hearts. I know Yoko composed both, but man you captured the kingdom hearts sound perfectly. I love this.

I associate this music with Another Side (the music where Roxas and Riku fight or when you fight Braig in Birth by Sleep).
It has that feel where you're fighting some being of darkness that takes the form of another. (Dark Bowser resembling Bowser, Riku resembling Ansem)
Braig in BBS has a complete different battle theme. Black Powder plays when you fight Braig

But in Aqua's story, Another Side plays before the fight where Ventus and Vanitas fuse together.

If there was ever (somehow) a dark bowser fight in a KH game, I think said fight would lean incredibly heavily on action commands, maybe even to the point where they are the only way to damage the dude, or at least a reaction command would be the only way to damage his core after knocking it out of him but before he can retrieve it, thus tangibly progressing the fight, like you have to strike the core three times to win, and you have to down dark bowser to get a window to attack the core, miss it and you have to do it again (but miss too many times and the action command changes to one that does two cycles worth of damage to the core instead of one out of pity)

Is it just me or does this sound really similar to the BiS remake rendition of the piece? I wouldn't be surprised if In the Final DX's instrumentation was inspired by the Kingdom Heart series.

Out of all the soundfont remixes and even the remake version of grand finale, this is the only one that I can truly believe actually lives up to the original
