You do realise that there is a limit right ? Once they hit truly modern aircraft the only things left will be to make up fantasy vehicles like World of Tanks, or watch as the player base slowly drifts away or dies off.

@@rags417 best part about war thunder is it's directly linked to the military industry so whenever new vehicles get made they will eventually be added to war thunder. As nations make new vehicles, war thunder will add those new vehicles

Honestly, looking at the guys allowed to know anything about the F-22, I don't think there will be any leaks.
Nah F22 is safe. F117 could even be safe. Saw a vid about abrams having DU front armor and it being an arguement of course on warthunder. The game might get hit hard by large governments about it being a greater security threat, no matter how modern the game gets. The players do need to chill out…
Im not guna wish i was younger, but start a war and sign me up, im there. These are the memories i want.
If they add these new planes they’re gonna have to have way more objective based gamemodes, like bombing/escorting a bomber.

Yeah the F-117 in particular would be virtually useless in Air battles because of the limited payload and no Air to Air options. It's only niche right now would be Ground RB where stealth would protect it from AA (depending on how it's implemented) so it could drop a pair of laser guided bombs on individual tanks and then bug off.
@@LordDarthHarry true, if no new objective (high value target) or game mode added in air battles, ground rb will be it's most effective place to be at
Gaijin is allergic to making objective based game modes, let alone creating a new one the only "kind of" objectives which were bases in Ground RB were nerfed recently and you are pushed to do dogfight 16v16. There isn't really any proper objectives in Sim either, its just "bomb these bases, and bomb this one specific objective". The game lacks good maps for ground-based objectives and objectives in general. I'd like to see dogfight NOT be the only option when future bombers / tactical bombers get added into the game. Atleast not in SIM. Let me do actual bomber stuff in SIM and not make the mode so dogfight heavy atleast. But its gaijin so

I'd like to point out that the Darkstar is *still not* the SR-72, people just started to call it so. It's X-72 according to the only source where they call it anything else than just plain Darkstar, it being the official final concept art of the aircraft for the film.
I think they should cap the planes in ground battles like they did for naval battles, anyway i will love to see this beasts into the game.
Especially if they add an AC-130J spooky.

@@pilot_6 Naval was a mistake, they should skip to Cold War era ships rather than WWI or WWII era Battleships, Dreadnought, and Battlecruisers.
@@pilot_6 Didnt say Naval isn't fun I do play Naval frequently also Naval EC on the weekend. But its Gaijin mistake adding WW1 WW2 ships instead of releasing Cold War or modern era warship.

They totally need a mission to fly 44 hours nonstop like the B-2 crews did back in 2001.
They really need to change the gameplay up. Bigger maps, objective based missions, maybe even larger servers and mixed battles. Let ground players fight for ground objectives while air players support or something.
They also need to make Stealth a thing. Give each aircraft a stealth rating that works against radars
And optimization for mobile

I'm happy that I made up my mind to switch back to USA tech tree after mainly using German, once USA gets the b2, f15, f18, and f22 they will be unstoppable
I can see F-15 and -18 but B-2 seems unlikely and F-22 even less so, given we haven’t even given any info about it to any other countries, much less sold one

They can draw a shape, and make up some numbers… game afterall… but when the f22 isnt for sale, i wonder if digital media qualifies lol. If they put it in game, the aircraft need a dark hangar we can change lighting on.

@@topbanana.2627 well the issue with the F-117 is it can only carry 2x 2000lb bombs. No countermeasures, it's subsonic, no offensive weapons like guns or AAMs, and its definitely not going to win a turn fight.
@@Badger_325 I mean the stealth should make it hard enough for you to fly low drop the payload and leave safely. Pretty sure they also have a reduced thermal signature
@@topbanana.2627 it does, the engines are hidden inside the jet so it would be a challenge to get an IR lock. The big issue is that as soon as you open your bomb bay to drop the bombs you'll create a big enough radar return for something like the Tor-M1, Pansir, and Tunguska to find you and launch a missile since they don't need to lock you to launch

I think they would have to do some major changes to bomber gameplay to even think about ading b-1 lancer. The there is the whole stealth thing, which i think they gona have to ad a whole new gamemode.

Good now you’ll have to dogfight in B2’s because the jet players are STILL going to bomb the bases and then immediately leave the match. And they’ll still say that is grinding.
No matter what happens the grind will only continue to get worse

They will either not add 5th gen fighters because russian players will be utterly fucked, or they will model the Su-57 pulling stats straight out of their arse so it can defeat 230 F-22s with a single look.
