Impressive property - but the gray cat is the best!! Climate and winters are harsh and extreme in Russia, which causes tention in the bark of trees, especially amoung young trees. This can cause cracks in the bark and damages to the tree. The white paint also helps to minimize those tensions caused by sun and temperatures.
That was such an awesome video. I honestly felt like I was at my cousins house also. They were all such good people. I could feel the loving home environment coming through my computer
I grew up near Destin. A wonderful place. I currently live in Middle Georgia, near Mcaon. A not so interesting place. My house is about two miles from I75, which you'll surely be traveling. I've been in New York City twice, hated it both times. If you like being crowded, you'll love it.

I have light pale yellow daffodils I transplanted in the curbside tree box area which I love. I have several different plants including Russian sage. I love gardening in my small front yard in Washington, DC. I keep looking at the floral dinner plates in this video and I believe those are exactly, or almost exactly like the dinnerware set my mother owned which I still have. They too are rimmed with gold. Interesting story of the new jb for the woman. :))
