They deserve to be crowned champions, they've brought more viewers over to watch the women's competition and are ultimately helping make women's sport enjoyable to watch.
Same with the Drua men's team. They've both brought excitement into their respective competitions.
What a game!!! Congrats to the Fijian girls! Very strong team, ever since their women 7s team won bronze in the Olympics, women’s rugby in Fiji became more successful and u can see that in the 15s now

Women's rugby is on different level nowadays - new sheriff in town with the FIJIANA - surpassed everyone's expectations - grit in these girls gotta be admired - sports person team of year for Fiji surely
Got so emotional watching this game as all I could see are doors and opportunities opening up for young girls back in villagers at home and in Fiji as a whole or even encourage our sisters in other pacific countries that the dream is possible. It’s even more crazy to learn that more than half of the team have never played any competitive rugby at all 2 years ago and even Vitalina Naikore who scored 3 tries in the final & also the player of the match was a footballer/soccer player in the village until she got spotted by the coach & have never played any rugby until joining the drua and the coach had to convince her parents that he will look after her while in Australia all the while getting ready to meet a team whose been undefeated in the last 2 years and has now only lost twice and both to the Fijianas.
Those Fijiana girls can play. They're legit they have natural skills and flair. You can see by the ball movements. Congratulations and well done to the Waratahs as well.

The Fijiana Drua were amazing and kept their composure to hang in there and pull off a win to take out the whole toaster as champions, it makes that upcoming test with the Wallaroos much more interesting now that they've been exposed to the Wallaroos players in all five Super W teams.

Nah she actually did a good job. The only thing was the girls kept slipping accidentally and it looked like they were intentionally slowing the game down or collapsing the maul. Eg. Matarugu got carded at first but if you look at the replay she actually just fell and slipped but you’d never know 😂😂That’s why they got carded 😂😂 it was just unlucky.
But it’s a fast paced match so the ref can only make decisions on what they see. The ref was fair
All the Aussie teams will be practicing the rolling maul to death in the off season. It's a lower skill safety move made ridiculously viable by some incomprehensible laws that are a contradiction in rugby that the less talented teams can use to stay in touch with the Fijian girls. That or they poach the players somehow.

Fijiana really need to work on their set pieces if they’re to have a chance of winning the world cup. Set pieces is very important and counter rucking is something I hardly see Fijians doing. As we can see, Fijiana had a tough game because waratahs know that Fijianas weakness are their set pieces.

I disagree… I think the Fijianas are doing great and winning all their games with how they’re playing as they are. The statement should be, “I think other teams should work on their defence if they’re to have a chance of beating Fijiana in the World Cup”… nuff said….
It's crazy how much the Fiji women's 15s and 7s team improved in such a short time. For Fiji men's the 7s team is still top tier but there 15s is still not on the level of their 7s team but they are slowly improving.

Can't see them posing a threat to either The Roses or the French, their professional set ups just have too much power and structure. However, although they are ranked well below the Saffa's in the world rankings, I can see them pulling a victory and getting through to the knockout stages, which will be a fantastic achievement.
