Im retired now. I was in maintenance for 45 years. I was a supervisor for 20 years. I don't know what this guy is getting paid but he's worth double! He knows how to use his equipment and he has the experience. He has his knee pads on and his mask and obviously has no back problems. He moves extremely fast and does quality work! I've watched a hundred Diamabrush vids and this one is better than any of them. I just bought the same DE Walt angle grinder and the 4 1/2 " Diambrush. I have my 1000 sq ft pool deck I have to strip 2 coats of paint off of this summer. Im 73 and every time I think about whimpering Im going to watch this vid! HaHaHa!

If you want to save your back and knees you can rent a 16 inch diamabrush disc and standup push rotary sander. It will take less time and your body will thank you.

I found this brush at Lowe’s for $49.99. Used it on cedar posts, hit a nail and broke one of the tabs off. Unable to use and returned it for another one. Package says it’s good for 1000 sq feet. This thing blows massive amounts of dust...wear eye, ear, face, breathing protecting!

Looks easy on a newer deck! Still works on a 20 ur old deck but old wood is more fragile and that wheel could damage old fragile wood but def works!!

Wonderful job, this is the best video on Diamabrush usage in youtube, Do you do this on a very hot day or a completely dried no moisture on the deck ? not sure what's wrong in my case I am trying but, I am not getting the same results my brush seems to stop working in 2-3 second on the floor and is giving me hard time. Need to wait for a complete summer to try it on a dried wood? There is a very little moisture due to rain 2-3 days back, It is eating the wood as well a little. Dust coming out is not like sawdust in your case it is giving me chips of paint. I appreciate some tips on this.

Bud Hines it depends on the grit and if you hit nails or not. They can last 300-500 sq ft.

It was a 20 x 8 I'd say and it came out beautifully. The customer had lived there 15 years and had no idea she had an oak porch. Only issue under handrails and the scrapes it left behind but if you have a sander you can clean them up nicely. Other then that the head is still good had very little wear

What type of dimabrush are you using? Only thing i am finding is concrete removal attachments. Looking to redo deck has restore 10x on it of course chipped away, so looking for most efficient method to redo it. This looks like best method to remove old paint, but what if we're just adding a new type of paint like berh deckover. Any opinions welcomed but really wanna know name of attachment piece your using thanks

Less expensive from Home Depot. Get 2 if your doing over 800 or 1000 sq ft. Grab an 11 amp grinder. I think this guy is using a 13 amp. 7 amp or less will quickly overheat the grinder. Recommend the shroud and a shop vac...cuts the fine big time.

@@robertmalgieri3526 my problem was we used the deckover on everything,, we didn't know any better 10 years ago.. stripping the floor was tedious work but doable.
