I suspect many of them were Sanders supporters. Great. Take most of your wealth (and/or mom and dads trust fund) and live by those principles and rather than drugging and "entertaining" yourself pay off the rents - anonymously - of working class families on the cusp of homelessness.

The saddest thing is this gorgeous white bear in the white desert. I wish Ice Man fest would take place in Arctic Circle to make people experience melting ice and how theie greed, and "freemarket knows better", destroys the natural habitat of these beautiful creatures.

It is great but, at least according to some older festival heads, it gets further away from what made it legendary every year.
It is slowly turning into just a psychedelic Glastonbury and lost a lot of its honest counter culture roots.
I mean, there is still the appearance of counter culture but it is more lip service than reality.
I don’t know the truth for sure, since I am not old enough to have gone in the past.
Still, if you don’t care about that and just want a drugged out Disney World then BM is great.
Still, don’t limit yourself to just BM. There are loads of great festivals around the world that haven’t been quite as diluted as BM.
Check out Europe, South America, Africa, etc.
