    The Titanium Always Pan Pro is the latest design from the iconic Our Place brand that promises the benefits of nonstick, stainless steel, and cast iron all in one. This titanium, all-clad pan has a lifetime guarantee, and it's designed to work like a nonstick pan with absolutely no coating or additives.
    With the ability to release foods thanks to groundbreaking technology-and no sprays or added chemicals-this pan has the ability to change the cookware industry going forward. Although this kind of technology currently comes with a premium price tag of just under $200. But given its lifetime guarantee, versatility, and how easy it is to use and clean, we think it's worth the plunge for anyone looking for a more sustainable alternative to nonstick cookware. #ourplace #cookware #cookwarereview

    Is titanium toxic at high temperatures, Kind of like the nickel in stainless steel is?

    Wait Wait a minute here, did you say non-stick pan without titanium coating? You meant this whole pan is made of Titanium????
    I notice the outer layer of this pan is stainless steel...... Somebody in your department screw up. It is a Titanium coating on the stainless steel pan.

    • @The_Monolith
      @The_Monolith Před 3 měsíci +1

      There are three layers in this pan: outer one is stainless steel, inner one is aluminum, top layer is titanium. They say there's "no coating" because it's a real solid layer of titanium that you can't scratch through, allegedly, even if you use metal utensils on it. However, it's a new product and some reviewers say they are doubtful of this claim, as they noticed the finish of the last layer seems irregular / stretched out / botched. I guess it's better to wait for the long term reviews (or new competing products, since the company doesn't own the patent, they just license it).

      @@The_Monolith Why all the complexity with layers of aluminum, stainless steel and titanium? Why not just make it all titanium?

    • @The_Monolith
      @The_Monolith Před 3 měsíci +2

      @@user-hz3eu5in I was wondering the same thing. From what I've read: -it's much more expensive than aluminum and steel
      - it doesn't spread the heat as well, potentially creating hot spots during cooking, especially on a gas stove (it would be hotter where the flame hits).

    • @The_Monolith
      @The_Monolith Před 3 měsíci

      Bottomline: I guess stainless steel pans are still the best option on the market (cheap, lightweight, safe, durable). We just have to learn how to "season" our pans to make them non-stick.

    How is price not at the top of the cons - you can by 6 nonstick pans. You also only got one so quality control might be a concern.

    • @LittleRadicalThinker
      @LittleRadicalThinker Před 2 měsíci

      Why don’t you just stick with the nonstick ones?

    • @teamja1088
      @teamja1088 Před 2 měsíci

      I argue that the cheapness in cost with traditional nonstock pans reflects their quality. All of my nonstick pans are AllClad and I have owned them for about 8 or 9 years. I had to throw away two AllClad pans that I used most because the coating began to flake or chip off and I do not want to ingest that chemical. The AllClad set cost me around $600. If this titanium pan will last as long as my 4 low cost Lodge cast iron pans (that due to 20+ years of use are ‘mostly’ nonstick but not truly nonstick) will last, and if it is truly nonstick, I argue it is worth the $195 price tag, but that is my opinion. I am a fan of cry once buy once, which is why I am disappointed in my nonstick AllClad set.

      It’s only just titanium on the inside cooking area, the rest of the pan is steel and aluminum so it can be used on induction stoves I believe

    Either this is a fake review or a stupid review. Tons of wrong information too. For instance, there is only a tiny amount of titanium in this pan, and it is in the coating. And yes, it does in fact have a coating, contrary to what this video says. Ugghh. Low effort or sponsor.
