    • @MoonbatKiller
      @MoonbatKiller Před rokem +2

      @@zachmorris8475 never said you couldn't get them for under MSRP. I'm pointing out that a close to base model Big Horn has an MSRP that's $6k more than my optioned out Big Horn that's only 2ish years old. MSRP of a comparably optioned truck to what I have is close to $10k more than mine. That's crazy in such a short time period.

    @jakes5530 Před rokem +26

    It is absolutely insane that for 2023 you can build and price a Big Horn up to $67,000. When this gen ram came out that was LIMITED trim money… now the Limiteds are $85k with a few options… a BASE Big Horn 4x4 hemi crew cab starts at $53k before any options.

    • @adventuristnw2321
      @adventuristnw2321 Před rokem

      I agree. I love my Ram Backcountry, but built up a much better equipped 2023 Chevy/GMC 1500 for about the same price as this one. Crazy.

    • @jakes5530
      @jakes5530 Před rokem

      @@adventuristnw2321 yup I love the Rams too. For whatever reason, Chevy (not so much GMC though) has yet to have fallen into the same trap as Ram and Ford with their pricing. Only time will tell, but you can still get a really nicely optioned up Silverado LT for $57k. That’s 5-6k less than a similarly equipped Ram or Ford.

      Nobody is going to lower thier prices. They will go back to the old system of incentives. Ram has actually started to do this. It's not advertised but thier reporting buyers walking out paying 10 to 15% lower than MSRP. Which is like a market correction. It may take a while but throughout the year others will follow.

    I ordered my Bighorn in August of 21’ and waited 4 months to the day in December. Mine is in Flame Red with the night edition package. LED lights, upgraded radio with NAVIGATION and 4x4. I had the dealer put in my spray in bedliner and the MOPAR cat back exhaust. I traded in a 2021 JEEP Wrangler Sahara practically fully loaded and paid off just in time. The dealership offered me more on the Jeep than what I originally paid for it which came to be 47K. The truck was 57K. But with the spray in liner, exhaust, and extanded warranty my remaining loan was 12K with payments being $273 a month. Paid it off in October of 22’. Current mileage is 15K!
