I want to make something special for my Friends wedding so I have decided to make them a pair of fork and knife. I will be using brass and maple for this project.
You remind me of someone in a video game that you occasionally have side quests with and you always have some crazy invention you want the main player to test out. Everything you make is so awesome, keep it up.
Thanks! Its funny that you say that because I always find those characters my favorite, especially the dwarf blacksmith from the recent God of War game (sindry I think). Anyways, he has a golden hammer which I'd love to replicate.
Uri, I work as a repairman of brass instruments in the states. I suggest, if you want a higher finish by hand, a product called miracle cloth. I don't know of the availability where you are but it is mainly cloth soaked in coconut oil. It really shines up brass and brings it to a pretty high luster.
The sound of the sped up engraving clips is just wonderful. It is really cool to watch how you do the turns and fine detail with the metal chisel. Your videos will never fail to amaze! Keep up the great work!
Hey bud dont be so hard on yourself. You can do things more than 3/4 of the Population of the whole planet can, so be proud of yourself. Your work is wonderful and all 100% handmade
You, sir are an amazing friend! To put so much effort and time into a gift is absolutely wonderful! Anyone would be quite moved to receive such a gift!!
The overbend on the fork was not a complete failure. Now you know how to successfully make an epic back scratcher!...lol. Awesome video! Beautiful work as always!
What a beautiful treasure they will have for the rest of their lives and remembering that you make it especially for them on their special Wedding Day.
You should use glue and loose flocking instead of felt. Much cleaner outcome but can be messy. I always flocked into a garbage bag so I could reuse the left over material. Keep up the good work I love your engraving and how you keep it low tech. It really shows your growth as an artist.
I love your videos! I do a lot of wood work with chisels and hand tools and learn with every project. All I can say from personal experience is no one is as critical as the Maker of the project. Your engraving is beautiful!
@@urituchmanpigeon thanks very much i really love your work. I will try to make a workshop similar to yours where i could relax and create something more peaceful without loud noises only hammer taps thanks again. Keep up. Ivan
How about make a simple sharpening fixture so you can have precision cutting angles on all your chisels then engrave the fixture with the freshly sharpened graver
Uri, You are my new favorite craftsman.... I love your artistic eye & mind when you come up with the ideas & give it your best. Just keep on what you are doing & you will become great at it!
I absolutely love how you turn the most basic items into amazing one of a kind pieces of art. You truly are an awesome craftsman. How do you make a super cheap item worth hundreds or even thousands??? Oh just give it to uri!!
These were absolutely beautiful man. An inspiration. I would love to do things like this, though I don't expect them to turn out nearly as well as yours.
I know your pain... once made 3 teapots with the spout upside down... Didn't notice until I was trying to use it. Had to look at the first teapot I had ever made to realize what went wrong.
You have very impressive skills and patience. Even when your not happy with your finished work you turn out beautiful keepsakes. I would be proud to own your worst work. Great work great video great artist. Thank you for sharing.

"I don't have delicate hands", but I'm about to make and carve some of the most amazing things you've seen.

so youre sayin this stuff can be used for trumpets?
Dr. Locklear I would be careful with that and try and stick to washing your Trumpet with water, but I suppose if you wanted to you could use that.

Yea what was that about. Was something kind of lost in translation?
Do you not have inner leprechauns pestering you all the time? Weird.

Best quote I've heard in a long while.
I am going to start using this.
Spray glue! You need spray glue. It is the savior the glue-dripping nation and has saved my sanity and the appearance of my work in many many cases.
*Does some of the most intricate and detailed engraving you've ever seen*
"I don't have very delicate hands"
I imagine your friends were just delighted that you put so much into a gift that can be passed down for many generations.

Beautiful! I would be over the moon to receive a gift like that!
Wow!! This is amazing, you're so talented. I'm amazed that it was all by hand, no machines! Incredible workmanship
Great video mate. Here's a tip, instead of gluing felt to wood, try this stuff called "flocking" which works great and has no edges.
