The transformation of leeds is incredible, now we see 30 to 40story skyscrapers going up in the cc, new office developments and the cc rapidly expanding out. At the time of writing this there are over 20 cranes up in the cc constructing new developments
Yeah but despite all these fancy skyscrapers and office blocks springing up everywhere many shops and outlets are shutting down or abandoned and empty on every street you walk down as well.leeds used to be a beehive of activity n just like everywhere else in the UK it's a grim shadow of it's former self which is a shame because Id like to think my heart is still in Leeds but over the years of what I've seen in its decline then it's lead me to think otherwise😢
Can anyone help please with the the marshal and Snelgroves building as there is so little info available - did it get knocked down and please don’t tell me the one two or three doors down with the columns that’s looks like a bank got knocked down too. When I work in Leeds I do my 30 minutes favourite buildings circuit at lunch time I simply cannot locate this one building. Ha ha I remember the Acropolis coffee house when I had a Saturday job circa 1983
