I was there! Andrew was telling me all about the TSI in the background of the intro.
It was a treat! My first trip to Oshkosh. I will be getting my PPL in the spring along with several of my friends. I drove from Kansas City to look at airplanes to potentially buy in a year or two. The show was great, but many of the exhibitors didn't seem to give me the time of day! Maybe I looked too young and poor to get into the game. I distinctly remember going up to the Pipistrel Booth and standing next to their Panthara and about three feet away from two of their reps, and saying "wow, that's a nice airplane." They said nothing. I'd ask them questions directly and half of the time they didn't know the answer. The same day I felt like I had to beg a JMB rep for a brochure on the VL3!
The Sling Booth was WAY different. Andrew knew the answer to every minuscule question I could ask. Right down to the weight of the optional AC unit on the Sling TSI, it's 23 lbs if you were wondering. He told me the story of how they've refined this airplane with various little tweeks and turned it into a 10,000 hr airframe. He even continued to teach me about it in the middle of a rainstorm. Their booth had a different attitude and their passion for aviation really shone through.

I’m loving your interviews and channel. Would you mind interviewing Burt Rutan please. He is there celebrating 50 years of his canard designs.

Too bad you edited that stupid ‘music’ (=noise) under that very interesting T-38 interview……
