Great selection and great work getting all the footage and putting it together for us. But the cuts are so short showing only the exact moment of the overtaking that it was difficult to appreciate what I was watching.
well done dude. I watched Jean Alesi double overtake (Belgium) and Jacques Villeneuve (Estoril) outside line overtake live and I'm still think it's the best followed by Hakkinen double overtake on Schumacher.
This just reminds me why it would be interesting to see Ricciardo back in Red Bull. There were a few Ricciardo overtakes in this mix and all of them in a Red Bull, a car that really suits him. However, the best overtake by an Australian is still Webber overtaking Alonso through Eau Rouge.
Senna-Prost Suzuka 1989 wasn't really an overtake, as they collided. But I really missed 3 Senna overtakes. Senna-Prost Suzuka-JAP 88 Senna-Alesi Phoenix-USA 1990 Senna-Lauda Monaco-1984

You lost the best Senna overtakes on Angelis Britain 84, on Mansell Hungary 90, USA 86 and Canada 93 on Lauda Mônaco 84, on Prost Japan 88 and Hungary 88, on Nannini Japan 89
Problem with this is it's subjective as for me a few were just an overtake, certainly not the greatest. Definitely missing Senna and Mansell at Barcelona in 91 and what Senna, Alesi in the Tyrell at Adelaide.
Piquet on Senna drifting through the 1st corner at the Hungaroring will forever be the best overtake ever. Some overtakes that should be included on the top 100 list: Sutil at Monaco 2013 at Loews, Verstappen on Hamilton and Albon on Vettel at the restart of the 2019 Brazilian GP, Gutierrez on Raikkonen at Monaco 2016, Raikkonen on Nasr at Hungary 2016, Albon on Perez at Tuscany 2020, Hamilton on Leclerc and Perez at Silverstone 2022, Albon on Ricciardo at Spa 2019, Alonso on Hamilton at Bahrain 2023, Norris on Sargeant at Spa 2023, Ocon on Tsunoda at Spa 2023
Agreed. To drift pass zealot-fanatic driver like Senna, one must balance between genius and madman. Piquet was both. That pass was one of reasons he's my favourite driver.
@@maikeru1990 00:12-00:25, first one. What makes it exceptional is fact that Hungaroring is circuit notorious for no room for overtaking. What makes it genius is that Piquet has done it in curve-not straight, on Senna, with drifting.
