Thanks for the don't drink and drive shout out. My brother was killed by a drunk driver. He had just proposed to his girlfriend and they were on the way home when a drunk driver T- boned them. He was in a coma and needed immediate surgery for swelling on his brain. When they went in to do surgery they realized both his lungs had multiple punctures and could not do the surgery. Even if they had, he would be a complete vegetable. My parents had to pull the plug. He was only 18. The amount of people affected by his loss was shocking. It changed the course of many lives, especially mine. When you drink and drive, you aren't just killing one person. You are responsible for a multitude of lives, that are forever dramatically changed. I have severe abandonment issues, anxiety and ptsd from it still.
I feel like the point of the song and the video is that his boyfriend was this kind of person that everyone loved ( symbolic of being a president) the lyrics had lot of metaphors

Fr! There’s absolutely no reason to drink and drive. You’re putting so many lives at risk.. even if you think you know how ‘sober’ you are, just don’t do it. Especially today, we have access to public transportation with lyft and uber
