-I used a 550rs high torque motor, 12 volts its more than enough, this dc motor is powerfull with a lot of torque, variable speed
-Can use the same size 555 motor, or others like the 775 or 895 with 5mm shaft.
-Simple and easy, can use all the dremel bits and even more, compatible with other rotary tool bits
- Use a power supply with a good amount of amps.

Dude you can buy cheap but good ones, unless you live in America or some European country it’s quite expensive. Asia is a good choice to buy them. I found a good dermal with cutting discs and every thing for $10.

Part list is in the descrpition, this one uses an 5 amp controler and an 12v 5 amp power supply.

There is something wrong with your charger, motor, or speed controlor, 12v with 2 amps is enough for this mini dremmel setup
